So on point about Lakme. I've stopped buying Lakme products. All they're doing lately is just hop on trends. When the lip cheek tints were trendy they came up with those lip stain pots. And they put BARELY any effort it newer shades or formulation. Smaller brands like Swiss beauty and Mars are doing SO MUCH BETTER. Lakme has lost all my support sadly

And like Shreya pointed out, seems like Maybelline is going down that road too. First they changed the matte lipstick formulation so many loved. Then they discontinued some of the powder mattes. Now they have come up with that ultimatte and zodiac range? Why lol!

Even if I feel the need for an extra hydrating step, I would be getting a HA toner instead, since they come in a much greater quantity for the price and do their job pretty well.

I remember I randomly watched an Indonesian(or Filipino.. cannot remember) youtuber..using a Lakme cushion foundation. I even asked her and she said Lakme has those foundations in her country. I was so appalled. Even though Lakme is an Indian company...yet the products in India are so mediocre. Who needs the same shades of lipsticks in a thousand different packagings? When will these popular Indian companies come up with good quality creative makeup products.😞
Lakme is not an Indian company. It was sold to HUL in 1960s and is owned by British Company HUL now. Alot of Indians don't know that we are still told about fairness by British through such companies. Fun fact: they sell tanning stuff in their own country to make white people tanner. Just make people want what they don't have.

Matte topper is great for people who don’t use compact or on daily bases apply lipstick only I find this product useful why to take headache to do with compact as I’m a not a fan of using compacts in general

I have stopped using make up wipes and cotton pads unnecessarily and also stopped buying makeup due to this pandemic.. I invest in good skincare instead .. that too .. following a basic CTM regime .. And I have saved up somuch .. pocket wise and environment wise ❤
But sugar's lip zip matte topper makes lipstick transferproof too which tissue hack wont do... its helped me a lot, wearing mac lipsticks under my mask... mac lipsticks are so gorgeous but it transfers very much right... and i almost stopped wearing them eversince this mask has started ruling our daily life....

And after watching your video I tried the tissue paper powder trick too but the lipstick was still transferring on the mask 🥺🥺 Pls give this product a try.. 💕

Hey Shreya, please do a high end makeup recommendation in all categories. I decided that having 1 foundation that you can rely on in any kind of situation (heavy duty) is better that having 10 drugstore foundations out of which half do not work 🤷🏼♀️. I have nothing against drugstore products but it takes time and investment to find one thing that works for you. FYI: LOVE YOU 💕

Even though I have used the nykaa sleeping masks (got them free) and they aren't one time use but my first thought after seeing it was I wish it was in a jar or a pump sort of packaging to get more use of it, yes these could be trial packs but still no. I don't like the packaging being from Dry skin, it gave me such an amazing skin the next morning, my skin was so plump and hydrated man!!
I have decided not to buy or try new skincare products for a while, as I have recently had a rosacea flare up after using skincare products from high end brands which contain Hyaluronic acid (it's just my skin that's reacting).
