EXCELLENT VIDEO AGAIN... It helps me personally a lot when you use the visitor centre as a reference point... especially for me because I've been there. I remember seeing that cabin... now I know a LOT MORE. WOW, what a fiasko of a mistake with Woods troops pulling out to plug a gap ONLY TO CREATE ONE in the worst spot at the worst time. EXCELLENT MAP AND DIRECTIONS OF THE EVENTS. Longstreet was brilliant... I often wonder what would have happened if Lee would have listened to Longstreet in Gettysburg. Poor Rosecrams... he must have freaked... talk about stress. EXCELLENT description of LYTLE and his mens stand... again James you personalized it and made him very real. How cool was that to hear thunder in the background as you showed us Lytle's hill. I love your little military memorial flags... and Lytle is truly worthy. COOL info about Hoods tenacity to continue to comand after losing his arm at Gettysburg and his leg at Chickamauga. THANK YOU MY FRIEND. Looking forward to Thomas's heroic stand. As always, God bless and protect you and yours. Carson
Tons of moving parts in this area. Happy to hear the video helped. Longstreet was a very reliable and capable commander. His troops definitely aided in the confederate victory here. Thanks for all the support Carson. Im beyond grateful.
Awesome video just spent 2 days on the chickamauga battlefield used your videos as my tour guide really enhanced my visit to the battle field thank u very much
Another great video in the series. Well covered with great information. I couldn’t even imagine what was going through Rosecrans and Lytle’s mind as they saw the Confederates come pouring into the field. Such a great series you have going here buddy!!!
So glad I’ve found this Chanel. Amazing videos presented without bias to either side. Respectful and dignified and you can see the care and great attention taken in compiling the videos. Although I’m a Brit I have a big fascination with this period of American history which has taken me to not only read and research on the subject but also be a re-enactor which allows me to live that period also, for which I am very proud to do so. Please keep these videos coming and you do an amazing job.
@@ProjectPast1565 honestly your videos are superb 👍🏻. This period of American history is so so sad and I find it so interesting. The narritive of your videos is excellent. I recently read a book called “ghost ships of the Mersey”, I didn’t realise my city Liverpool played a part in this conflict, the last of the confederate navy surrendering in Liverpool England. I would certainly recommend you try to source it and read it. History is why we are who we are and it’s great to be able to connect globally with those who have the same passion on a subject. Keep up the good work mate 👍🏻🇺🇸🇬🇧🇺🇸🇬🇧
Hello from Canada I subbed too your channel from the history underground great video I will catch up on your past videos and looking forward too seeing more videos from you .
Thanks Gary. I spend 2 full days at Chickamauga filming. I’d say I spent a couple weeks reading/researching prior to the trip. I go with a binder full of notes and I still forget stuff. Grateful for your support.
