Hey man! I’ve been wondering if you knew the measurements of all the Vagabond Viz Bigs together because I’ve been looking to collect this series because I’ve heard a lot about it!
Hello Zach! I recently completed this set and I'm really excited to start it. Being a college student in Romania with a tight budget, it took me a LOT of time to piece this together. I picked up vol 12 like 3 years ago because I got it on sale. By that time, I was new to collecting manga and I've made many mistakes, like starting new series, which made it harder to complete the ones that I already had and, of course, to get to read them. Vagabond has such amazing artwork and I really wanted to experience it in physical format, so the only option was to wait. I'm so happy now that I own a complete set! You're right about Vagabond not having an anime series, but there is a movie adaptation of the novel 'Musashi' written by Eiji Yoshikawa, on which Vagabond is based on. It's a trilogy by Hiroshi Inagaki (Samurai I: Musashi Miyamoto - 1954, Samurai II: Duel at Ichijoji Temple - 1955 and Samurai III: Duel at Ganryu Island - 1956) starring Toshiro Mifune (I absolutely love him!) as Musashi. I like them a lot and definitely recommend them. Speaking of recommendations, I suggest: 'The Book of Five Rings' by Musashi Miyamoto himself and the new TV series entitled as the source material, the book 'Shogun' by James Clavell. Shogun is another classic samurai story and is one of my favorite books of all time! Cannot wait to watch it!

Hi zach! Yeah I have read the series and currently collecting the singles. It is an amazing series which goes in depth in philosophy, and a character's journey. Hope you enjoy it but it isnt for everyone as it can be slow for some people, as it is less a story and more a journey. Enjoy!
