Hey! Doesn't downsizing the wheels interfere with the speedo/abs for you?
I put a 120/90-17 tire on my Hunter (stock is 110/70-17) and the circumference difference absolutely messed up my speedo (turned off mid-ride when I hit about 90km/h).
I had to go down back to 120/70, but I hate how puny they look...

Hey! I didn’t notice any problem with the abs. And I have a aftermarket speedo which has a calibration feature. It needs to be recalibrated after the wheel swap and then it runs fine. However, I also did run with the stock speedo, it is incorrect, but it doesn’t switch off.

yeah I thought about going to the dealership to have the speedo recalibrated but I don't think they would do it..
mind sharing what aftermarket speefo do you use? I don't think I'll ever sell the bike, so I might as well swap it. recalibration feature sounds nice

@@boburrides I also don't think the dealer will recalibrate, but you can try first. I am using Daytona Velona 60 and I was happy to get it with a harness prepared for the Interceptor 650. If you get it with generic wiring, you will need to spend some time to crimp the connectors and figure out how to make the fuel gauge work. I have a tiny video on the channel about pros and cons of a custom speedo - please give it a watch before you buy one.
