I'd bet my ballsack the Bluetti is running the same DC voltage inside the unit. Perfect ODS to go from 48v DC to 120v AC and then back to 48v DC.

I'd bet it isn't. I think they max out at 24v DC, most are 12V DC. Unless you're sugesting he cut it open and wire up from before the AC inverter you owe me 1 ballsack.
He said the golf cart was 48v but the idiot wired all the power supplies in parallel so the output was only 12 volts. If you want to sum voltage, you put power supplies in series.

You wired the converters in parallel. Assuming they were each 12 volts you just increased the amps and maintained the 12 volts. That is probably why they were hot and the golf cart was slow. If you weird them in series then you would have gotten your 48 volts that you said you needed.
