I know exactly what you are talking about. I was in the same situation once...and I felt that same feeling like I cannot reciprocate because my boyfriend was rich and I was really poor, and he would buy me crazy gifts that I could never reciprocate. I felt worthless and I felt not good enough...it took me almost one decade to realize that this feeling is a reflection of my own fears and lack of self confidence. Gifts are not there to be reciprocated. We are not trading!!! We are giving from the hearts and there is no difference between 6000€ Rolex and little flower drawn on a paper 📜 🌺 if the heart is pure and intention is sincere . Life goes in waves ....now we have more ...now we have less ...when we have we give ❤️🫂☀️☺️🌸when we don't we receive ..but we must least how to do both with grace and happiness in our hearts 🥰
@@SunStarChild Yes Exactly. I'm more spiritual and down to earth So I like gifts like flowers and Food 😂. I get my fear from my past tho. Every time I receive a gift from someone they will always expect something back in return and even belittle me if I can't. I understand it's not me but it has put me in a state unconsciously to not accept gifts from anyone unless I can give back to them.My fiance is trying to break me out of it but it's deeply rooted and I hate it.
