Man I wish I were at this concert! I went to the Yokohama Arena performance but it was when they were playing the venue for the second time on the tour in January 2020. That was the last concert I went to. Man, who knew, right? Since Ed was the guest, the band really let him take the spotlight with Taka mainly harmonizing. That's how humble these guys are. They also sang OOR's "Wherever you are" together, and personally I would have rather see a live video of that than "Shape of You," which I personally think is one of Ed's worst songs (sorry). "Wherever you are" is mostly in Japanese so it would've been interesting to see Ed sing in Japanese.
@Peter Richards It must have been great for the guys to play with Ed, but the song is not that great. I was curious to see how they would preform it live.

It was nothing special but I really wish to see reactors digging more into ED as an artist shape of you is not the only song he did and it's not his best too he one of the most popular for a reason
Yeah it was ... uh, yeah, it was. I had heard of Ed, but hadn't heard him, out here in the American wilderness, until one day on satellite radio. It was a studio track that I couldn't remember as soon as it finished, and I kept waiting to hear a human voice and never did. Ed had been auto-tuned out of existence and all I heard was a computer generated sound. So it was nice to see him actually singing. He's alright, but why is he so successful when many better singers aren't? I guess it all comes down to the song. you can be great (The Blasters) and never get the right song. Or be alright like Ed and hit it big. Rod Stewart laughing all the way to the bank
I first saw Ed live when ONE OK ROCK opened for him at his shows in Japan. I hadn't really listened to his music until then and I still think "Shape of You" is his worst song, but Ed does have some pretty good music. His live performances are really unique too since he performs alone. If you've not heard his other songs, you should maybe check out "Thinking Out Loud," "Perfect," and "Castle on the Hill." I think those tracks are way better and a lot more meaningful than "Shape of You." While "Shape of You" may be his most successful song (I don't get it either🤷🏻♀️), it'd be a shame if it's the only song of his you ever hear.
Oh man, this was a bit painful for me. One OK Rock are still new to me, and I think they can do FAR better than this. It's not awful or anything, just middle of the road. It's probably because Ed is middle of the road for me (and that's on a good day. Sorry Ed). He did 'that' cameo on Game of Thrones, and it was SO badly out of place and wooden that it just epitomised what I think of his music. To me, it's just meh. And unfortunately that reflects onto your Marathon boys today. But I'll not hold it against them as I definitely think they are far more capable than this song shows them to be. Oh dear. Sorry about that...

I’m a die hard fan of ONE OK ROCK, and I completely agree with you. When they perform with famous celebrities, OOR always perform modestly.
