I have a problem with this at work. I’m confused with the whole thing where you have to “course” the items in order for them to be made in the kitchen even if you input the whole order at once

When you " course" it is referring to appetizers first , salad, entree, ect..if you know the timing of your kitchen then you can skip using the course button. But you will need to remember and watch your guest to know when to send an entree like when they are half way thru the appetizer..that way theres not a table of food from each department or to ensure food doesn't take to long to come

I’m the bartender, is hard when you have a full bar.....the problem is also the restaurant’ logistics, they should have a steady runner bringing out the food. Thank you for your feedback.

I love toast. I've worked in the restaurant field for over 25 years and worked on many programs..Toast is my favorite!

@@lannagrays271 Hi! Quick question... What makes it your favorite? Is it that much different to other programs? What makes it so special?

Is there a good POS system that is quick ? For a busy bar where you dont have to click a bunch of choices and you can hit 2 or 3 buttons to close transaction. This is way too time consuming, seems like old school is much faster than all these add ons.

Great video! How you access the toast POS from your PC? Sometimes can be very helpful for me to change things for staff

So does someone set up your establishment's food options in the system or do we do it ourselves?

You can do it yourself or pay someone to program your items. Its actually kinda easy to do and you will save $
