- Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi made a surprise visit to the New Delhi Railway Station on Friday. During his visit, he met with around 50 loco pilots of Indian Railways. The loco pilots shared their concerns, particularly about the lack of adequate rest, requesting a weekly rest period of 46 hours.

Thank You Rahul for bringing the plight of the Loco pilots. Their pathetic work conditions also lead to rail accidents. Please take the matter to the Parliament. If your mike is switched off take the matter to the peoples parliament, i.e. streets of India.

I am unsure whether the railway will be privatized, but if that happens it will shoot up inflation as freight transport contributes the maximum revenue for the railway, just like we have seen in the telecom sector.
Even complaints of high parking charges are against adani by the airway companies, it will be the same here
