Nice. The original NU25 with the microUSB port was just about perfect for trips where you just need a headlamp for around camp or for shorter night hikes. Glad Nitecore finally put out the true successor with the USB-C port. It has it all. A throwy cooler beam, a high CRI flood beam, and a red light. All in a lightweight and compact form factor.
Not really. The 200lm mode lasts around 2h (not "7-8 hours") and loses lumens very quickly (the output isn't stable). Even the low setting doesn't last 7hr actually :p. Battery life on low was better on the original NU25 (bigger battery and not "still 500mAh" like you said). Great headlamp though.
Thanks for the comment, I have been testing it for a couple weeks and the NU20 classic seems pretty stable to me. I rarely leave it on the Turbo mode which I forgot to mention in the video and the IP66 waterproof rating. I appreciate you correcting me on the battery, but I believe the NU20 Classic still has the 500 mAh battery. The New NU25 UL has a 30% larger battery. Aside from that I love the usb c charging which seems to be charging faster and the added battery indicator lights. Run times may vary depending on usage. Have a great holiday!
