I was very skeptical at first but I kept praying for truth and Yah opened my eyes to the truth. Holidays are pagan, no rapture, 2nd coming of Yahusha is at the end of tribulation, not before. I was ‘Born Again’ in a charismatic church over 25years ago. The Saviour made Himself known to me in Jesus name. Only for a few years have I come to unlearn some of the lies of tradition/man. There are many debates going on in the Messianic movement, some say this some say that and all the debates on how names are pronounced. Our Heavenly Father knows whose know love Him in Messiah. Yahweh is so patient with us.
For Me my awaking came with the word Christian and why that Title is found only 3 times in the Bible. Few know the Greek word Christ-Tian mean Little Anointed One. Christ = anointed and Tian - little literally a child Christ. The second truth came when reading these 13 bible verses that changed my perception as to who and what Christ Jesus is and what the Entire bible is about. 2nd John 7-11 & 1st John 4:1-6 & 2:20 & 2:27. 2nd John made it clear there is only One Doctrine in the New Covenant which is Christ In You The Hope of Glory and as 1st john 2:27 says you when anointed with Christ Consciousness have no need for any man to teach you anything. Third awaking factor of 1st John 4:1-6 and the present tent word IS 9 times in these 6 verses. If you confess that Christ Jesus IS come in the flesh you are of God but if not you are not of God. The question is who's flesh is it talking about? Verse 4:4 makes it clear it is talking about My Flesh Hear and Now, Not sometime in the future as the universal church teaches. The Church teaches many false doctrines by there male dominate pastors and priest to those who do not have spiritual hears to hear and a Spiritual Eye to see inner truth. Mathew 6: 22-23 & Psalms 32:8 & 33:18 My suggestion is read theses 17 Bible verses and prayerfully meditate on them. The Greek word Christ (Χριστός) comes from the word χρίω (G5548 if you look at Strongs). The Greek usage of χρίω is "to besmear". The Greek culture had no precise equivalent for "to annoint with oil"... χρίω was the closest equivalent to the Hebrew משח (annoint) so it used in as the base word for Χριστός (Christ) and then Χριστιανὸν (Christian). Here's what they won't tell you. That Greek word χρίω "to besmear" described how the soldiers would protect the leather in their armour and shields from cracking from age and exposure and to reduce friction in battle. As mentioned, the Greeks did not use oil for this purpose... they had no word for "annoint, or smear with oil". No, the Greeks besmeared their leather items with a waste product they had in great supply from their pagan sacrifices... pig fat.

I have seen the dead raised just this year by the name of Jesus. One had a toe tag on for 45 mins & was retrieved from Heaven & was told "u must go back, theyre using that name." I only believe the most High and not scriptures that contradict what He says. For example: Yet I am the most High your God from the land of Egypt, and you shall know no God but Me. For there is no Savior besides Me. Hosea 13:4 It's very clear, the most High says that he is the lonely savior and that nobody is besides Him. 2:51 Why not just put only God first? What do we have to lose? If Jesus is God, then we are worshiping Him anyway, no harm. Yeshua. It's derived from the Hebrew word Yeshuah. Both mean the same thing. Yahusha is a bastardization of Yehoshua. This is inappropriate because it's a theophoric name which references Salvation from an external entity outside of Jesus. For example if Yehweh (YHWH) says he is salvation and the name of Jesus means Salvation, it indicates Jesus or Yeshua is YHWH. If is name meant Yahweh is Salvation or Yahweh is my Salvation then it would indicate he is not Yahweh. Most of these Hebrew roots people are Arians. Arianism is a christiological heresy which posits the Son is a created being.

@ANewBegging-so1wp The passage in Mathew 16:17-20 does not say that Jesus says that Peter is the rock. Many have interpreted this incorrectly and assume Jesus was talking about building the church on Peter but if you go back and read the passage Jesus was asking Simon (Peter) who he says he is. And Simon (Peter) says to Jesus you are the Messiah. Jesus was confirming to Peter that he is indeed the Messiah and he was saying that upon his own death and resurrection his kingdom would be built. Jesus was saying that he is the rock, not Peter. He was saying that his reign would not be overpowered by the forces of hell/hades. He was telling Peter he would give him the keys to the kingdom because upon Jesus death, Peter would receive the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit that dwells in every believer is the keys to the kingdom because we can not enter it without Jesus having died to make our atonement and to seal us as his own by the "baptism" of the Holy Spirit in us. The keys to the kingdom is the Holy Spirit that seals us in unity with the Lord Jesus. The part about Jesus saying what is loosed on earth will be loosed in heaven ...he is talking about himself. His death on earth has broken the curse that was placed over all mankind. We are no longer bound to sin and death. The original Greek scripture says that Peter is the rock, that's why he also got the name Perer instead of Kefas. Peter in Greek means a stone or the rock. "Jesus" can not be the rock because he is not the most High, the most High says He is the rock and besides Him there is no other.

Even Peter interprets his own dream twice showing that this is in reference to gentiles coming into the faith. It has nothing to do with food. The passage in Mark 7:19 “thus declaring all foods clean” was added as you can see by the parenthesis, and not in the original text, causing many to stumble. The context of that chapter is about ritual handwashing. The “new” fits in perfectly with the “old” when we take the time to study original language and context! It’s beautiful. For Me my awaking came with the word Christian and why that Title is found only 3 times in the Bible. Few know the Greek word Christ-Tian mean Little Anointed One. Christ = anointed and Tian - little literally a child Christ. The second truth came when reading these 13 bible verses that changed my perception as to who and what Christ Jesus is and what the Entire bible is about. 2nd John 7-11 & 1st John 4:1-6 & 2:20 & 2:27. 2nd John made it clear there is only One Doctrine in the New Covenant which is Christ In You The Hope of Glory and as 1st john 2:27 says you when anointed with Christ Consciousness have no need for any man to teach you anything. Third awaking factor of 1st John 4:1-6 and the present tent word IS 9 times in these 6 verses. If you confess that Christ Jesus IS come in the flesh you are of God but if not you are not of God. The question is who's flesh is it talking about? Verse 4:4 makes it clear it is talking about My Flesh Hear and Now, Not sometime in the future as the universal church teaches. The Church teaches many false doctrines by there male dominate pastors and priest to those who do not have spiritual hears to hear and a Spiritual Eye to see inner truth. Mathew 6: 22-23 & Psalms 32:8 & 33:18 My suggestion is read theses 17 Bible verses and prayerfully meditate on them. The Greek word Christ (Χριστός) comes from the word χρίω (G5548 if you look at Strongs). The Greek usage of χρίω is "to besmear". The Greek culture had no precise equivalent for "to annoint with oil"... χρίω was the closest equivalent to the Hebrew משח (annoint) so it used in as the base word for Χριστός (Christ) and then Χριστιανὸν (Christian). Here's what they won't tell you. That Greek word χρίω "to besmear" described how the soldiers would protect the leather in their armour and shields from cracking from age and exposure and to reduce friction in battle. As mentioned, the Greeks did not use oil for this purpose... they had no word for "annoint, or smear with oil". No, the Greeks besmeared their leather items with a waste product they had in great supply from their pagan sacrifices... pig fat.

I have seen the dead raised just this year by the name of Jesus. One had a toe tag on for 45 mins & was retrieved from Heaven & was told "u must go back, theyre using that name." For me, one of the biggest deceptions and Christianity is changing the Messiah‘s name to a name that is definitely not his. The ineffable name doctrine is proof they changed the name. Under the guise of it being too holy to say. It’s not that it was too holy to say it’s that that they didn’t want us to have the power in the name. The name was removed almost 7000 times and replaced with Lord and God, which is a title. There is a difference between translation and transliteration. One of the commandments is that you should not take his name and vain, the word vain also means to bring it to not which means to bring it to nothing, so if we aren’t calling on his name, we are worshiping in vain because we are bringing his name to nothing . Yeshua. It's derived from the Hebrew word Yeshuah. Both mean the same thing. Yahusha is a bastardization of Yehoshua. This is inappropriate because it's a theophoric name which references Salvation from an external entity outside of Jesus. For example if Yehweh (YHWH) says he is salvation and the name of Jesus means Salvation, it indicates Jesus or Yeshua is YHWH. If is name meant Yahweh is Salvation or Yahweh is my Salvation then it would indicate he is not Yahweh. Most of these Hebrew roots people are Arians. Arianism is a christiological heresy which posits the Son is a created being.

@ANewBegging-so1wp The passage in Mathew 16:17-20 does not say that Jesus says that Peter is the rock. Many have interpreted this incorrectly and assume Jesus was talking about building the church on Peter but if you go back and read the passage Jesus was asking Simon (Peter) who he says he is. And Simon (Peter) says to Jesus you are the Messiah. Jesus was confirming to Peter that he is indeed the Messiah and he was saying that upon his own death and resurrection his kingdom would be built. Jesus was saying that he is the rock, not Peter. He was saying that his reign would not be overpowered by the forces of hell/hades. He was telling Peter he would give him the keys to the kingdom because upon Jesus death, Peter would receive the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit that dwells in every believer is the keys to the kingdom because we can not enter it without Jesus having died to make our atonement and to seal us as his own by the "baptism" of the Holy Spirit in us. The keys to the kingdom is the Holy Spirit that seals us in unity with the Lord Jesus. The part about Jesus saying what is loosed on earth will be loosed in heaven ...he is talking about himself. His death on earth has broken the curse that was placed over all mankind. We are no longer bound to sin and death. Jesus of the Bible is the Lord Jesus God Almighty....it's just that the passages have been taken out of context and meaning twisted under various denominational teaching. Lord Bless You.
The original Greek scripture says that Peter is the rock, that's why he also got the name Perer instead of Kefas. Peter in Greek means a stone or the rock. "Jesus" can not be the rock because he is not the most High, the most High says He is the rock and besides Him there is no other.

Even Peter interprets his own dream twice showing that this is in reference to gentiles coming into the faith. It has nothing to do with food. The passage in Mark 7:19 “thus declaring all foods clean” was added as you can see by the parenthesis, and not in the original text, causing many to stumble. The context of that chapter is about ritual handwashing. The “new” fits in perfectly with the “old” when we take the time to study original language and context! It’s beautiful. Torah is simply Yah’s instruction for us in this life. If something doesn’t match up, chances are it’s us and our faulty understanding of texts that have sometimes been corrupted. @@77ministries yeah you quote that. But let me say this to you. Many are throwing out the teachings of Paul. Who called all his works in torah "dung" and eventually I believe people like yourself will end up disregarding the most of the New Testimate. I can bring up more from the New Testimate.
Also if you follow torah and break one law you break all of the law. For the priesthood of melchizedek trumps the law of Moses. And Moses paid tribute the Melchizedek did he not? And what priesthood is Yahusha from? Not from the line of levite. So your faith is in the Torah and not the messiah alone could be your downfall. If the apostles were fine with writing his name in Greek (Iēsoûs), I'm sure using the name Jesus is completely fine, especially since it's not a pagan name.

@victorypledge3262 I'm aware that his name in Hebrew is yahusha and I'm not opposed to using that name, but his name in English is Jesus, which is derived from the Greek name Iēsoûs. The apostles wrote in Greek, and when it came to the name of Christ, they wrote Iēsoûs, which is simply the Greek spelling and pronunciation of his name, look it up. In fact I'm pretty sure that they called Christ Iēsoūs in person, but I'm not 100% sure.
Give me some proof that it is derived from Zeus as I highly doubt it. And no, Jesus doesn't mean "heil Zeus", there is literally no link between the two, just because it KINDA sounds similar, doesn't mean it is. If you're referring to something else that proves the name is related to Zeus please tell me as I would like to know.
