    I do not understand why people continue to use NAS and RAID's those technologies are from 35 years ago.

    This is the stuff that Gives me kittens. One would think that Ceph and Gluster (and thus Redhat) would be especially mindful around storage. Broken upgrades are only viable in test scenario.
    DJ - I suspect that although you got it sorted, you would have fallen back on deep experience to make this work for you. I imagine a lot of folks run this and don't have backups (I know, horror, horror, but real world is rough..)

    A Q! witch linux distro did take to replace CentOS 8.0 or are you still testing it all out !! i saw many video's about it ........

      Probably will go with Rocky Linux but want to test with it for a bit, david (its supposed to have a beta sometime at the end of April)

    By default kvm only has one thread to access the disk, so this test on proxmox may be pretty unrepresentative of a real deployment. kvmonz.blogspot.com/p/knowledge-disk-performance-hints-tips.html - also memory bandwidth is going to also affect the lab compared with a real deployment.
