Red Velvet is my favorite girl group :) My favorite will forever be Feel My Rhythm. Not just my favorite song from them but one of my favorite kpop songs of all time! But my runner ups would be Russian Roulette, Sunny Side Up, & In My Dreams :) From this album, my favorites were Knock Knock, Underwater, & One Kiss :) but Iced Coffee is a close one as well
For me: Celebrat Oh boy Bad boy Kingdom com Nightmare Chill Kill peekaboo will i ever see you again rookie Los Angeles Sulgi umpa umpa like water wildside And....😅😅
Thank you for your attention to this unique and wonderful group, everything about these girls is unique, the harmony of their voices is unique. Of course, they are not show people. I am a fan of this band from another country and of course I am happy that the band is not superficial and transient. Regarding the song, there is a song in this album that you did not put in the video and I must say that it is the first place for me "Will I see you again?" Of course, all the songs of Red Velvet and all the albums of this group are beautiful. This album is a proof of their glory and power.
Imo the best K-pop albums of 2023. Yes Chill Kill's among them. aespa - Drama (prefer it over My World). Dreamcatcher - Apocalypse : From us. GOT the beat - Stamp on It. ITZY - KILL MY DOUBT. ODD EYE CIRCLE - Version Up. Red Velvet - Chill Kill. SHINee - HARD. TAEMIN - Guilty. tripleS - ASSEMBLE. TWICE - Ready to Be. Weeekly - ColoRise. We still have comebacks by Dreamcatcher, Jessica, and queen Taeyeon on the way.
You have to watch and listen the song IMO. The song i think is about abusive relationship, bf obssess and manipulate gf thinking she needs his love. Like the vid, in early vid, the girls kinda had to perform to him (the rearranging the chairs and such). The man being obsessive. Wendy the brave decided to check upstairs, and killed the man. Others went upstairs and discovered what happened. Panic happens and seulgi the mother consult the Yeri the youngest. Irene leader clean up the blood. Joy the scared wanted to tell police but Seulgi convince her no. There was a scene where Irene make all dance, you know, to forget about tomorrow. They end up burn the house but caught up at the end. They dance the last time and finally ends 🥲. Basically, GF is free from the BF and just do whatever you need to do and dont think what happens next. Like that I think
@@sumysim3245 yeah I know that, I'm just saying that the mv kinda shows the message of the song. It has the same context but different roles. Song about bf, mv about the dad, you get what I mean. You are correct but I'm just saying the mv has the same vibe to the story of the song, like that lol
Okay, hear me out for a second..... Regarding "Chill Kill," I think the actual meaning of the video goes WAY deeper than what we see on the surface. Lee Soo Man getting unceremoniously ousted from the very company he founded by members of his own family was hands-down the biggest story in Kpop of the last year. In their first comeback since his removal, RV portraying themselves killing, hiding the body and then burning down the home of an abusive father-figure who had them held captive in his basement doing private performances for him is WAY too much of a coincidence for me.
I love everything about this album and comeback... they slayed it all. Whats your favorite song from Red Velvet? (old or new)
automatic is my favorite overall, but from this album it’s gotta be underwater 🔥🔥🔥
Great choices! My all time is prolly Body Talk and so far on this album is One Kiss

I love Nightmare and One Kiss, and Chill Kill is very unique title song that have deep and interesting concept. This comeback is so good 💗💛💙💚💜
Yeri said in the countdown live that Knock Knock was a candidate for the main title track. I love it too.

The man is actually a father figure, not a BF, but the relationship was similar in terms of them being locked up and not being able to be free.
