I do know my hi comp Z2 in my ‘99 CR-V has a knock sensor, but I haven’t looked at too many low comps. Love my 5 speed CR-V! Bone stock engine right now, but it’s real good fun with a short shifter adapter and a set of good detent springs.

@@timm5970 yes, you'll make more power but it depends on your tunner. My tunner is my brother, so he max me out. pump e85 is like race fuel. Check out Huntertuned on TH-cam. E85 vs m1 race fuel.
That's pretty ignorant of you to say bc a tuned stock low comp b20B4 can make as much power as a tuned stock b18c1 GSR easily. Realistically VTEC heads aren't necessary at all unless you're trying to make huge power or building an all motor setup.
I've had my B20B For like 4 years besides years of neglect for the previous owners that i had to replace both rear ball joints calipers and brakes but the motor has never failed me once. Recently when i pump gas the shit poors out so now that too so im thinking i should say f it and get a new fuel pump aswell. Bigger exhaust and a air intake running from the front headlight of my integra. Ive beat g35 on the streets have no idea the power need a tuner
@@eln0n01 totally... when will people learn b20/LS are not R blocks neither comparible and this b20 is nowhere close to a type R performance wise u need to regear it and a shaved balance crank(diff crank or rework the stock one then you could go after gsr or a 75 shot with a oz of more hope and u mite be able to set beside a R ,,,it does run strong for a b20 but u obviously haven't had a strong type R before
You can have a 195whp/138tq typer redline 8600. While a b20b makes 185 to 195whp with 150tq+ redline at 7800 will still smoke the itr all day long. Mild setup like this with lsd is the best for street daily. Even faster in a light car
