I'm not a colts fan, but I appreciate this context. I loved AD in the draft, thought he was WR4. Also drafted him on my fantasy team lol. I have family members who are diabetic. I'm not even diabetic, but when my blood sugar gets low (due to a medication I take) , Its hard to concentrate and I get cranky too. In the NFL he's gonna be having the best healthcare in the world now and they will help him manage it. Off field issues is crazy. Just support him and his health and he'll be just fine.

He is in the NFL now and has all the resources to keep his sugar right.

Are you thinking Texas did not have enough funding? They make close to 200 million in revenue each year. Georgia likely makes more. Not having the resources was not the issue. Not to mention his NIL money, which is well over 500k. Them fake ass white castle wannabes over at Krystal Burger aren't paying him with burgers and fries.

Stephen, you are absolutely right! They had me thinking he was doing bad things off the field, and now to find out it was more a medical issue that can be controlled, it was wrong to label this young man as being a bad character.

Once he gets with a nutritionist I think he will be fine. Andrew’s is also a diabetic. But he will also have to be responsible on his own when he isn’t in the building.

If the media is in fact the one(s) who did this then why doesn’t Chris call them out? If he heard it, then he’s got to know who’s behind it. Just my opinion. I’m a type two diabetic and I don’t get that way to the point I’m rude to people. Maybe he does have some attitude issues, I don’t know him so I can’t really say, but at the end who really cares. If he does he’ll mature and grow up. And if he doesn’t, well I’ll guess he’ll figure it out when he’s unemployed. The Colts won’t put up with it if he turns out to be a problem. Honestly I think he’s with a good group who will help him. I wish him all the best. Can’t wait to cheer him on.

None of these things was the big red flag. It was he has the worst stats in the next gen data era for any 1st round prospect in the last 15 years. And with suck a stacked WE class teams didn’t have to pick him 1st round. Had it been a slim picking year for WRs he would have been drafted in the 1st round.
