- Come with me for a day at King Richard's Renaissance Faire! Disaster struck unexpectedly towards the end with a sudden FLOOD, but we had a great time at the joust, cosplaying, and getting our princess on.

Did you go in 2023? It rained like God was punishing us for our sins when I went this year. But only at the very last moment , so it really worked out despite my ruined sandals and a 5$ rose I lost in our panic to escape the rain
And then… the next day, the sun came out at 10 a.m., we drained and pumped and handled the flooded areas to our best Rennie Ability, and turned out one of the best Ren Faire days we have seen! Seriously, the side roads were packed with cars, our artisan booths packed with you lovely “playtrons”.
I love how your friends are cosplaying Lup and Barry Bluejeans. And your dress was so cute!

I appreciate what King Richards fair is trying to do but it's a complete mess nowadays! Overcrowded people dressing up as whatever from Pokemon to Harry Potter completely losing what the fair intended to be! Don't bother bringing a stroller it will absolutely destroy you!
