    Very nice! What type of liquid stabilizer do you use to get that controlled porcelain layering, and is it universal or just for emax? Thanks

    • @masterdentaltechnician1914
      @masterdentaltechnician1914  16 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Ceram Build-Up Liquid Allround from Ivoclar. It is made for Emax ceram and depending on the other firing temperature you could try to use it. I would not recommend using it with other porcelain systems because I like to stay in the system and recommend following the manufacturers instructions.

    Hi, thanks for sharing... how much thickness we should cut-back ? And I don't see that you're using any dentin, is it because you're working in the enamel area?

    The emax ceram porcelain can bond with zirconia ? I thought only can bond emax cad or press though. Since the zirconia is high temperature and the ceram is low fusing porcelain, so I thought cannot bond with zirconia.

    • @masterdentaltechnician1914
      @masterdentaltechnician1914  ปีที่แล้ว

      Great question. Zirconia is a high-temperature material at sintering. After that, you can run it at any temperature you like. Glaze only: 725, bake on Emax ceram 750, bake on vita: 780, re-generation healing after grinding:1000

  • @adimeshort

    Any ideas out there- I use the same technique, stains, MiYO and porcelains but still end up with slightly low value/grey anterior once in the mouth (using more opaque or translucent zirconias)

    • @masterdentaltechnician1914
      @masterdentaltechnician1914  ปีที่แล้ว

      Have you tried Emax Ceram Power incial or Power Dentine? That will raise the value. Also if your cutback is too heavy and you add too much incisal porcelain it will drop the value. Try not to use too translucent zirconia as a base. That has a low value from the beginning.

    • @adimeshort
      @adimeshort ปีที่แล้ว

      @@masterdentaltechnician1914 Yeah I’m using emax ceram- power incisal, OE, etc.
      I’ll try less cut back and a thinner layer.
