  • Discover the Fast And Easy Results Dental Technician Training you will discover the new easy of e.max layering.
    I am showing an advanced E.max layering technique using zirconia crowns fabricated with a micro layering technique to get Fast And Easy Results. I am using E.max porcelain different translucencies and mamelon powders. In this digital smile design file with a facial cutback, I will reduce worktime and increase efficiency and aesthetics.
    Minimum layered Zirconia with e.max porcelain can look opaque, and I am showing how to make a natural-looking micro layered zirconia crown. In discover the new easy I am using two special 3shape smile design libraries I created to eliminate shrinkage of ceramic units and to optimize the efficiency in layering without compromising aesthetics.
    Discover the new easy is part of the Masterclass series for Dental Technician Training about micro layering zirconia onto Zirconia, or E.max crowns with a digital facial or dentine cutback.
    The purpose is to create life-like dental restorations with minimum effort. I am showing different methods of preparing the core, what rubber wheels to use, how to do the wash bake for optimum Fast And Easy Results, how to layer the crowns from easy to complex. Furthermore, I will show concepts of contouring and texturizing the crowns using a verity of burs and rubber wheels.
    I am using E.Max Ceram and Glaze by Ivoclar: www.ivoclarvivadent.us/
    I am using burs and rubber wheels from Aesthetic-Press: www.apdental.net/
    I have no financial affiliations with Ivoclar Vivadent or Aesthetic-Press

    Hi, thanks for sharing... how much thickness we should cut-back ? And I don't see that you're using any dentin, is it because you're working in the enamel area?

    useful but at 7:20 you are talking about mamelons buth those arent mamelons but development lobes they have nothing to do with mamelons...btw its super cool to combine lobes as reflective zone in incizal edge translucent over them and then build mamelons

    The emax ceram porcelain can bond with zirconia ? I thought only can bond emax cad or press though. Since the zirconia is high temperature and the ceram is low fusing porcelain, so I thought cannot bond with zirconia.

    • @masterdentaltechnician1914
      @masterdentaltechnician1914  ปีที่แล้ว

      Great question. Zirconia is a high-temperature material at sintering. After that, you can run it at any temperature you like. Glaze only: 725, bake on Emax ceram 750, bake on vita: 780, re-generation healing after grinding:1000

    Any ideas out there- I use the same technique, stains, MiYO and porcelains but still end up with slightly low value/grey anterior once in the mouth (using more opaque or translucent zirconias)

    • @masterdentaltechnician1914
      @masterdentaltechnician1914  ปีที่แล้ว

      Have you tried Emax Ceram Power incial or Power Dentine? That will raise the value. Also if your cutback is too heavy and you add too much incisal porcelain it will drop the value. Try not to use too translucent zirconia as a base. That has a low value from the beginning.

      @adimeshort ปีที่แล้ว

      @@masterdentaltechnician1914 Yeah I’m using emax ceram- power incisal, OE, etc.
      I’ll try less cut back and a thinner layer.
      Thanks!
      I really enjoy the videos, keep ‘em coming
