Hey Lumberjack! I never heard of this place, but I have to say, it looks like a pretty cool area to explore. Allways a pleasure watching you and Mrs. Lumberjack hiking a new area. Thanks for sharing!
What a great hike the fall colors are beautiful. Wild wildlands make the hike much better, with some bush whacking. Thanks for taking us along on a great hike .
@wendingourway it was very cool to explore such a rugged area, and without trail blazes, it felt like we were exploring unknown areas. Thanks for sharing!
These kind of trails are what keep us Hikers wanting to explore more! It may have been seen by many people before you but seeing it for the 1st time in person is what it is all about! Everyone will have a different experience. Great job staying positive while bush whacking a trail... ! Haha! Love it! I would look like a pea next to those Boulder Rocks!
@darcyshikingdiaries yes, the adventure that even unknown little places can provide is worth checking out. I felt tiny amongst the mountains of boulders. Thanks Darcy!
What a beautiful hike ! I’ve never been there before. That fireplace looks like it was in pretty good condition. I love stumbling across old ruins. Thanks for sharing!
I'm so glad you showed this place because I hadn't heard of it before. I really love natural lands preserves and I'm sure this one will eventually become like their other preserves with some more signage and trail markings. That was cool to see the tree growing out of that boulder and I loved the stone chimney ruins in the woods.
Hi Lumberjacks! What a nice surprise to hear you mention my run up Tammany! ❤I'm a few days older now and will not be repeating the stupid things I did in my youth. 🤣That's a pretty area. Looks like a lot of leaves have fallen and covered the trails. Love that boulder field. You're definitely bushwacking now, dude! Glad you guys found you're way back to civilization!
It was certainly more than we bargained for🤣. Usually, the Natural Lands preserves are very well marked, but we made the best of it, and finding those ruins was well worth the frustration. Thanks for watching!
Catching up. As you may know hurricane Milton came through Tampa 2 weeks ago. 3 hurricanes in 2 months it has been a mess. I haven't been feeling good either from health issues. Since I don't get around well because of fibromyalgia and sciatica I get to see places through your channel.
@debbieskitchen2 I know what you're going through, Debbie. I spent the last two weeks in Bradenton helping my mother and sister recover. I am glad that you found solace in our videos. Much love and prayers from the Lumberjacks.

@jennsylvania1633 there's nothing like finding ruins while hiking through an unknown preserve. Your kind words are appreciated!

So wonderful to have lands set aside to be able to get out and enjoy the natural environment! Indeed, it really does seem very nice in there!

I always like coming up on old chimneys and remnants of a homestead. Man that was one gigantic boulder! Good job getting back on trail!
I actually think that the trail found us🤣. Thanks for the binge watch!
That is the best kind of hike!!!😊🎉
@debbiehills2928 it was great to explore a new place that not many have documented! We love these kind of places! Thanks for watching!
That was awesome! What a beautiful preserve! I enjoyed the crunchy leaves as you hiked! 😊
@nationalparksprincess3216 sometimes I wonder if we can be heard over the crunching leaves. Apparently, we are. Thanks Princess!
Another great hike! Thanks for sharing
Anytime, Sherry! Thanks for watching!

The secrecy of it intrigued me also. Thanks for watching!

@@LumberjackPa Oh my Bradenton got it the worst than Tampa did. Glad your Mom and sister are okay though.
@debbieskitchen2 they are doing well, and everything looks better than it did before. All glory to our Father!
