Nikki….gurrrl. I just bought that Maybelline 24 hour foundation. Even though I’m African American, the best shade for my skin was the one you were wearing 220. I can’t believe how incredible it is…it’s glow-ey, and I only needed one coat using my fingers for great coverage. It doesn’t feel hot and “foundation-ey”on my skin like the expensive Dior foundation that’s been my go to. 220 matches my skin tone perfectly. This will be my foundation until you recommend something else. ❤

Okay I love your videos but I just had to comment early on because I *SO* appreciate your willingness to have an honest conversation about your real habits when you’re on the go, and address the “influencer-y” habit of putting a dropper to your skin. I’ve always appreciated the way you effectively and efficiently share your tips, but it’s just SO nice to see you make a different choice and display the professionalism that you practice in contrast to the typical influencer. Influencers have their place and have introduced me to some great tips and hacks, but sometimes they unintentionally mislead people on matters like hygiene (or the lack thereof). It’s refreshing, it’s educational, it’s very helpful, and it sets a good example where the standard is for simple, clear rules of hygiene.

I finally decided to try Maybelline Super Stay Skin Tint. We wear the same shades in most foundations. If it's not an exact match on me it's very close and still looks really good. So I had to find this video again just to see what shade you wear. Your tips are always super helpful but considering I'm TERRIBLE at shade matching myself, it's even more helpful being able to wear the same shades.

I mix the Maybelline skin tint with the Loreal version and it is even nicer!! You get the moisture and skin feel from the Loreal and the coverage from the Maybelline.
