I like watching your videos Robert. I live in the city and miss the bush so much. I'm all the way over here in Niagara Falls, Ontario. All our Children and Grandchildren live here too. We've made this our home base now. It's good watching your videos. Makes me homesick tho..... 👍🙂😃😀
Thanks Robert, just found your videos the other night really interesting, I immediately subscribed and will try to keep up and do some catch up with your old videos.. No snow here yet but can't wait for it , keeping an eye open for a white tail, have to get winter meat supply. I don't see any rabbits yet but once snow flies maybe get some. It would be nice to have moose here, like you guys get. Tom here in South East Manitoba
Hey my friend you got er going on. Running a Honda, eating Moose 🫎 meat , catching fish living the dream Now your taking up operating the stick welder . Man o man. You the man😁🙏🙏👍✌️✌️
Thanks you for the short video. The season is coming fast. its already deer season here in Ketchikan, Alaska. And I'm already prepping for trapping season. My orders are in for my trapping supplies. And I'm pumped. Hope to see another video soon .TTYL CHACH FROM KETCHIKAN ALASKA. YOU HAVE A GREAT DAY. }:-)>
Filled my bird feeders today as well as a Suet cage. I hit the like button 👍. I noticed your Sandhill Cranes idling south. Sandhills are leaving interior Alaska now. Trees are going yellow and chilly with mixed sun

Good to see you my friend I’m glad your getting in here more often , I pray the fires are dieing out there , Looks like your staying busy just like me here in the USA hills and hollers of Kentucky , Maken your pun stuff , working on your own it is a great feeling for me when I do these things , The trap drag is great , you should get a patten on that ! All the best to you and your wife ! ❤
6010 rods will be best for the rusty/older metal. Throw a continuous bead on there and drag the puddle, don’t forget to clean up your slag so that way there’s no contamination inside the weld. Will hold a lot better than a tac weld brother. Looking forward to watching your trapping/hunting season!! Cheers from Sipekne’katik First Nation
Instead of welding a half chain link on end weld a bolt with a short piece of chain flat washer then drags spin and the trap chain spins when making a catch
Robert, instead of burning the heck out if your face, why don’t you make a “pancake” welding shield similar to what the pipeliners use. Simple to make.

Good idea for a homemade drag, I have some scrap fence post myself so I’m going to give that a try myself.

His welder would not weld good with 6010 would be much better off with 7018 with these small welders
Sun-burned face for certain!
Hey there Robert I'm heading towards your neck of the woods wondering where I can get a elk tag for hunting thanks, peace
Meat wrapped up in repurposed paper bags, painters tape, and electrical tape? This why i come to TH-cam. Let the show begin

Hi Robert!
awesome awesome ho ho 👍 👌✊
If it wasn't for sweet and sour moose ribs , I might not get out so much.
Wire brush or grind the area to weld first! Clean clean clean. Practice practice practice !
