Wow, this guy (or girl) gets to see the centaur camp, is friends with all of the weasleys, Mad-Eye Moody, Tonks, Amos Diggory, well respected by all the teachers (even got love advice from Snape, i mean...) ,had already more adventures than Harry in all of his seven years and broke many dangerous curses and fought evil witches...how do they explain that he (or her) is never mentioned in all of the Harry Potter Books? I mean, he (or her ) must be the greatest legend of Hogwarts! No way that no one of the students left when Harry came (Beatrice must still be there, right?) never told one story about the legendary cursebreaker of the cursed vaults. And he (or her) is friends with all of Harrys friends too, why would they never talk about this close friends of theirs, when they are so close? Why is he (or she) not in the order of the Phoenix, surely Dumbledore would have needed such a skilled wizard or witch? Or his (or her) story has a tragic end, that would maybe explain why no one talks about it later...
Theory time: I think that the ultimate price mentioned by Trelawney would be something like "disappearing from existence". Like, everything happened as if the MC never existed. Since the game makes an effort to be as close to the original canon as possible, I think that's the only for all of this to make sense within the canon. Or they can just run with what we have, make the MC an icon in the wizarding world, have them meet Harry Potter and just make it so that the story of the game isn't canonical...
Plus, there is no mention of anyone in MC's promotion aside from the Weasley and Tonks. All the following assumes that the game is canon to the books/films. Alright so, even if the MC is completely forgotten, the others who have been tampering with the vaults should be well-known in the wizarding world or at Hogwarts at the very least. Given all of what happened, it's impossible that Harry Potter and his crew doesn't know or never heard of Penny Haywood, Ben Copper, Tulip Karasu, Rowan Khanna or Merula Snyde. All things considered, the game cannot be canon unless they are all erased like the MC but then why the Weasley weren't ? The more I think about the game's plot and the MC (who unfortunately is becoming more and more of a Gary Stu/Mary Sue) the more it definitely can't be canon...

By opening the final vault, we cause the new timeline and the vaults to fade from existence... That alternate timeline being this game and it's events...
