MIA is very difficult but I will say that I'm learning it now and I'm having a better time than I expected. It's not easy in the slightest but I expected to struggle much more with it. It helps learning other Syn solos before jumping into MIA so you kinda know what you are getting yourself into. Still the hardest solo I ever tried to play is like Painkiller by Judas Priest, Glenn Tipton solos are ridonculous

Honestly M.I.A was one of if not my favorite sevenfold releases. I mean the song was perfect and toward the last few minutes Matt seems choky like he actually was emotionally moved and effected by the song itself. That’s what I like about music man put your heart and soul into it. Drip every ounce of sorrow anguish anger and happiness all into that one track.
He plays it so much easier nowadays; seemed like he hassled his way through it back then but still sounded great. Just shows he’s gotten way better, and I’m sure changing his picking grip helped as well.

This and Wicked end are tricky with their timing. Even though it's in 4/4, there's so many bending into slides and shit, and 32nd notes into 16th note triplets. Counting it is very precise. Also the facking quintuplets 😅

When I see Synyster Gates playing any music, I think that the technique that de palm of our left hand can't touch the Neck is bullshit. He hold the Guitar neck and get high speed easily. Awesome.
