I'm from Courtenay BC and when I was in grade 8 our class hiked the cake Scott trail and we all camped on that same beach. Was cool to watch the video thx for sharing
Great video. Thanks for sharing. I know hikers will stone me to death for asking Do you know if any of the places you hiked are accessible by Motorcycle. Would love to do an adventure and camp in this area.
WADZ UP no the closest u get is the parking lot trailhead or take a water taxi from port hardy. If u drive to the lot b careful of the road potholes everywhere n u could camp down in San Jose bay. It’s about a 20 min hike down from the lot. I camped there in November n were going back next month. Summer or winter is wet as the ocean so have proper gear
I was just thinking about this hike this week because I hiked it 50 years ago, Easter weekend, 1971.
Great video. Thanks for posting. 🇨🇦🍻👍🏻

I envy your journey together. You know the place is special if the locals (bears) like it too! lol! Thank you for sharing.
hahaha that's it!! thanks!! :)
Fantastic! Hello from Victoria B C
You are accessing the trail midway. The trail head starts at Shushartie Bay, accessible by water taxi.
Well done lived in port hardy for years never made it to the caoe
You travel on the left of the road where logging trucks are concerned, they have to watch for cornering due to their length on some roads I traveled.
Awesome
thanks!!
it looks more beautiful than the west coast trail
Very similar. ✌🏼
