So many smiles stuck on my face watching this!!!! It looks like she might need a lesson on setting the hook? When she feels the nibble got to let that slow down on the reeling in and give it a little jerk when a bunch of nibbles come in a row. It looks like you two had fun and of course that is the most important thing! As always, loved the nature montage and can't wait to see more of learning and growth in you two learning to fish together without snagging each on on a cast standing so close to each other :O
While I was editing the footage I noticed she was having a tough time setting her hook. I realized she just didn't have the necessary leverage to set because the butt end of the handle was too short. She needs a new rod with a spinning reel. I believe she needs more sensitive line on the reel so she feels the bite sooner.

Okay, this is actually pretty great. A kid that actually fishes and doesn’t get distracted into throwing rocks in the water. Lol. Yeah evening fishing is normally my thing. Night time is definitely the right time

I think she needs a rod with a longer handle so she can get more leverage on her hooksets.
