Some great video makers around at the moment, but this guy is simply the best at putting information about his approach over. Love his collaborations with Andy May as well. Deserves a TV slot IMO.
I've been out of fishing for 15/20 years, back then it was a case of who can drag the most fish out the quickest, its nice to see angling has now come into the frame well done jamie.
Really good video, very professional and so helpful to us anglers light years behind Jamie. Really helps to understand why the fish are where they are and how they feed. Thank you. Dave.
Hi that is a brilliant bit of deduction from Jamie, he got it right first time for depth the fish wanted to be in! His point about being at an unpredictable time of year I found similar when I fished commercial’s frequently years ago, and I’m sure they change during the day. Great video Jamie and thank you Tom some lovely shots. Regards Bill
In carp fishing we would fish deeper water after a rain as it pushes a colum of warm water down for a short period might sound daft but it’s caught me fish
How do you make decisions based on others ? ie if others are catching down the edge then you give it a go. Whilst at the same time you havent a clue how deep their edge is... Sounds like this video is all about finding the ideal depths to locate the fish. So I havent a clue how watching others helps you decide where to fish. Unless of course you know the depths they are fishing in
Pretty much answered your own question there bud, he will know most venues like the back of his hand, he fishes a lot more than most of us and is supreme at using that knowledge he gains by that. These top lads almost think like fish. The only thing I have in common with carp is my short memory span lol.
He's doing it because if he sees others catching in a different area, it's normally because the fish are in those areas. If more than one are catching it's worth having a little look, as you'll catch fish short quicker.

Brilliant video. IMO Jamie is arguably the most technically talented angler of the modern era on the commercial circuit.Nice work Tom.
Top notch. Interesting to see that success is possible in the cold without dobbing. Nice one Jamie.

Brilliant content from Jamie 🎣 nice video Tom 👍
Good video, made me chuckle when Jamie said. ‘When they won’t go down on my pile!’ Sorry to lower the tone but that made me giggle haha
Thanks Jamie and Tom for a great video
Superb, as usual !!!!! Thanks Jamie.
Nice one Jamie and Tom , thanks

Another great video. Was you on banded or expander 👍
Are the pellets previously soaked or not?
