The reason taz tornado breaks through shields is because it's a multi hit movie. The first hit breaks shield, second hit puts you in a hit stun. 3:27

The other one where he passes through the shield tho, I feel like it's BS. 3:58 Taz shouldn't be able to pass through shields like that. However, Taz can eat the shield for an anvil.
