Marielle and Megan discuss chapters 1-14 of February's BotM, Pardon My Frenchie by Farrah Rochon.

Ashanti owns a doggy daycare, and her beloved Frenchie, Duchess, has a little boyfriend there, Puddin'. Puddin's owner is a sweet older woman who gets injured and has to move into assisted living, so her grandson is now caring for Puddin'. But Thad hates the dog and he doesn't seem to like Ashanti or her business much either.

Then, Thad and his business partner, Von, buy a house that Ashanti had been looking at expanding her business into. So, they are truly at odds!

There's a livestream camera in the play area at the daycare, and Puddin' and Duchess's antics have been getting a lot of attention lately, and then one clip of a Lady and the Tramp moment between them goes viral.

The local news wants to do a story on her business, but she needs Thad to agree to bring Puddin' back for the interview. He agrees to bring him, for a week of free aftercare, as they'll be renovating the house he bought, and he'll need Ashanti's help with the pup after all.

Then Ashanti gets news she's been hoping for. Her real dream location, that she though was unattainable, is suddenly on the market. But will she be able to afford it??
