I started a business and it’s time to hire. My husband wants to hire a bunch of family and friends. I want to post the positions online and hire the best people we can get for what we can pay. I don’t mind family applying and even getting a small edge. But I can’t move off of pure nepotism.

Also, he doesn't seem to be the most mature (he said he didn't like the fact that they were able to goof off, do what they want, and not have as much responsibility as he did. @@baybeetricia it was only a suggestion, and if the others are goofing off while he’s still being responsible, that is a sign of maturity. He wants to play around, but understands that he can’t. The fact that he resents it does mean that they should have hired a manager with experience or an assistant manager with experience that could relieve some of his burden, and they definitely shouldn’t have hired the girlfriends. That was a recipe for disaster.

Same, the show doesn’t feel the same.
This notion about 'keeping it in the family' is the reason why some legacy doesn't last. Unless a family member has the qualification or experience, your expectation can be unrealistic. Unless my kids have great interest in the legacy that I am creating, there is no 'keeping it in the family'. I will, however, financially contribute to their own passion.
Don't forget making sure your kids even want that too honestly look at KY he one of the youngest he dont even seem to want that shit
Their kids are too old at this point it works when they grow up in the buisness because it become a lifestyle. We have some family buisness, but my siblings and I were their st the age of six, we know what each other are capable of.

You can tell these kids never worked a day in their damn lives. It's really simple, when you're on the job, the personal shit goes to the side and you address it later. You don't get into fights at work especially when the place is in the red. Fire all of them and get some professionals in there ASAP.

I've haven't seen the episode but what qualifies these young kids to run the restaurant? Start them as wait staff & hosts. Shouldn't you be certified to be in the kitchen? And GM usually have extensive experience.

From actually livin here in ATL & hearing a lot of local complaints, to actually watching this, I can see why their bistro don’t have many good reviews. Nene Leakes opened her Lounge like 2 months ago & u can already see her great reviews. Mostly because she hired actual professionals who already have experience in that field. She does not have personal family or friends workin for her which is why she is thriving already. They gotta fire all of them & bring in professionals I kno they may not wanna pay them more but it would beneficial for business.
Thank God Nene doesn't have any close friends or family to f*ck up her business. Those sons do not want to work. Like at all 😂
So glad that this is being aired out. I went to Frost Bistro last year, and let me tell you…. Horrible food and even worse service! Definitely don’t recommend to anybody. Save your money, the salmon tasted like it was still in the ocean!!!

Other than starting a 'business' for all of your children were any one of them college material? It seems as if they've all been taught to depend on daddy's money to see them through life so no, they aren't prepared for when the parents are gone. Kirk and Rasheeda are to blame for not planning on educating those dopes and preparing them for life. Get a professional manager and step back and leave him/her alone to train, hire and as the case may be to fn fire.
They did such a good job raising their children.
