Out of the norm... Can we please please break n react to one of my MOST FAVES during this time of year? @anitaremenarova6662 They've already shown that a large budget is unnecessary. T4 could easily be another 2 mil movie that makes a big splash at the box office.
Damien Leone has confirmed it isn’t just the sword that gives Sienna power. Being briefly killed & resurrected in the last movie allowed her to absorb some of the magic herself. That’s how she’s able to fight Art even after he breaks her hands.
It does? Always felt that if the sword hurt Sienna, it heals that wound. T2 it healed where it cut her, but none of her other wounds. Same with T3, it just healed where it sliced her hands. If so I kind of want it to be told in the movie and seeing more of her wounds heal. I kind of hope he doesn't really make Sienna a supernatural angelic presence.
Art doesn't need the vessel, it's the demon inside of him that needs it. Art is the vessel, art is the "serial killer" mentioned in Jonathon's letter. The reason Sienna's dad was able to see what was gonna happen is because the good spirit was inside of him but he also had a part of the bad spirit as well which is what lead to him taking his own life in fear of hurting his kids. That good spirit entrlered Sienna near the end of the 2nd movie when she died and was brought back to life which is what's needed for 1 of those spirits to enter the vessel. It's confirmed by Damien Leone that that is what happened at the end of the 1st movie with Art. Art was human but after his death, the demon entered his body, bringing him back to life
The rat tube scene has to be one of the most disturbing kills I’ve seen in a horror movie film ever, and the fact that it happened to someone that didn’t deserve it at all either. It was also the scene that made David sick.
@@reneastorgaterre1954 The rat scene didn't bother me at all. Not one singular, solitary bit. I was just too engrossed in the effects on that one to be bothered. The shower scene got me the worst, but the bar scene was a hefty one, too.
My absolute favorite detail about this one is how the little girl at the very beginning has a possum plush in her bedroom (homage to Terrifier 2) and the later at the mall, art has actual toys in his bag including a possum plush. Meaning he literally stole the presents and toys from the first house and those are what he gave out to the kids at the mall. With the bomb lol
26:26…funny you should ask lol. I just met Samantha Scaffidi at a con two days ago. I asked her, “Can you believe this ride you’re on?” She replied no. It blew her mind that she was still playing Vicki 8 years later and people wanted her autograph for her portrayal. She was so sweet. Vicki is the Harley to Art’s Joker.
My wife dragged me to the theater for this one and I was hysterically laughing as a coping mechanism to some of the most disgusting shit that was happening on screen lol I don't think I've ever emoted more while sitting in a theater
GOD ME TOO. Went with my best friend and we were both in hysterics over the present explosion in particular. This was DEFINITELY a film that was enhanced by being in a theater.
@DarthTingleBinks I do have to say though, it is by far the best makeup for Gore I have ever seen in my life. And I totally appreciate that fact but it's just too damn real at some points
This was by far one of the funniest Reel Reject reactions. Terrifier 4 is in the works. The franchise is incredibly profitable and keeps growing. Art is not going anywhere.
I’m ngl, if Deadpool & Wolverine didn’t drop this year, this would be the theater experience of the year. Full audience of horror fans on Friday opening and everyone cheered at the end. This franchise is insane
Dude same!!! I saw Deadpool and wolverine a day early access in imax with a ton of fans! And terrifier 3 was definitely second but Deadpool and wolverine was definitely the best this year and honestly the best I’ve ever had probably.
Yeah, Damien in an interview said he draws the line at showing the deaths of kids in his movies. This happened near the end of his debut film "all hallow's eve" which had art take out 2 kids but they never show it happen, you only see the aftermath of it
"I will get sliced in the vaheen for you" Well, now if you get cast in Terrifier 4 you're probably gonna be turned upside down and ripped in half down the middle FROM the vaheen. Congrats, Roxy.
Wow. What a Massive financial gift to be given. Good for him. He should have been bigger. That movie where he is undercover and strung out was so good.
So from what I understand, the actor playing Sienna's brother was 17 when Terrifier 3 filmed, and is apparently a huge fan and very into the proceedings. I have a theory. --- Potential spoiler but only a theory --- I believe the actor and director wanted to give Sienna's brother a completely spectacular and visceral death, but he was too young to film it the way they both wanted. I believe they deferred showing the kill so they can wait till he's at least 18 in Terrifier 4 so they can film it properly and flash back to it, possibly as the opening kill for the movie. I think that's why they made it so clear he's a college student old enough to live on his own here even though the actor is technically younger than he's supposed to be. --- Even more wild theory --- I have a suspicion that Sienna's brother will be Art's companion in T4.
Btw the 9th circle which Is the book the girl was reading at the end was Damiens first "movie" which means it all goes back to when art worked for the demons in the 9th circle, and the actress who was reading the book at the end was arts first victim, it all goes back before terrifier 1
I can imagine Terrifier 4 having a meta scene with Greg and Roxy watching and reacting to the movie and talking about how gross, but cool it is with it just being a movie. Then Art like busts into the room or comes out of the TV and goes to work. That would be so sick.
Fun fact: The reason why all of Art's victims seem to survive as long as they do, despite the horrific injuries is cause the Director confirmed that when Art was resurrected and became something of a demon, he gained the ability to keep his victims alive longer so they can suffer and feel even more pain when they should've already died.
The aunts death. That kind of stuff terrifies me and I felt so bad for her since her last words were reassuring her niece it wasn't her fault and she loved her and to avenge the family.
One of my favorite things that I realized after my third viewing of this film is at 37:43 those toys he’s handing out are from the family in the intro scene, we visually see the doll and possum plushie in the little girls room
I saw this twice and each watch was tough to sit through 😭 This movie is so fun yet so disturbing and tense at the same time. NO ONE was safe during this either 😅 People were really worried about the child death in this movie and it still got flack from people after it came out, but Damien has expressed that he wants to push the boundaries of horror without crossing the line. Also I went to a screening where Damien and David were present and he said that there will be a fourth one and it will be the last
The rat tube kill was most definitely the worst one in this, the shower scene was crazy but the rat tube was so unexpected and disgusting and sad. This third one is def the best one for sure.
Theory time, I genuinely don't think Jonathan is dead, the death at the beginning Art already had the Santa costume which means it happened in between the scene in the bar and the finale, I think the skull belongs to one of the family members from the beginning
If you follow the rules in horror, if you don't see the death on screen, then character is not dead, especially for main characters. I don't think Jonathan is dead. I think that head skull belong to Johnathan's roommate who Art killed. Art and Victoria had to make Sienna believe he is dead so they can take over her soul. And yes, 4th movie is confirmed. Director said 4th movie will be the last and will be the wrap of the story.
Fun fact: For about a month before Terrifier 3 came to theaters, Damien Leone said there would be NO Terrifier 4. He wanted a trilogy and to cap it off there, where fans could draw conclusions how they wanted. After the movie entered theaters, Sienna's actress and David (Art) went on a campaign to try to get the sentiment for a Terrifier 4 high enough Damien couldn't say no. About a week after, he confirmed he had spoken to the producer (who actually plays the bus driver at the end in this movie!) and opted to make a 4th and 5th Terrifier, provided they continue to make money. The film has so many cameos and 'fan actors' that there are too many to count, but seeing as a lot of horror staple actors and celebrities got called out, including Tom Savini, I'll mention that we also got Pete Davidson as the Art fan that dies off-screen on the train. Pete is actually friends with David and Damien, and was part of the reason Terrifier 1 and 2 got such a huge popular culture push. He bought out a whole theater during his stint at SNL to take the cast and crew to watch 1 and 2 while 2 was in theaters, and PAID DHT and Damien to come watch it with them, which started their friendship. Also, during Johnathan's dorm scene, the song playing in the background is 'A Work of Art', which is a song by Ice Nine Kills- a horrorcore band that do a lot of music centered around horror in both screen and book adaptations. The lead vocalist, Spencer Charnas, is a huge fan of the movies and has said that Terrifier is his favorite franchise. They were asked to write and perform the song, and even got a lot of Terrifier 1 and 2 cameos for the music video of the song- including David Howard Thornton as Art himself!
They reshot the ending or Terrifier 2. Originally Chris Jericho was supposed to die in the end ot T2, but they had to scrap the ending. Arts face was supposed to appear in the back of Victorias head. When Malignant came out, they added the head ending and brought Jericho back to shoot a new kill scene for T3.
OG Mount Rushmore of Horror: Freddy, Michael, Jason, Chucky. New Mount Rushmore of Horror: Ghostface, Pennywise, Leatherface, and newcomer Art the Clown.
The yellow eyed demon is key. Sienna is shown holding a decapitated demon head in the drawing. Art will always come back/not die until the demon is slain.
This was easily the most impressive and well made of all 3. I was genuinely surprised by how much they stepped up! The feeling of dread they created with the final act was truly one of a kind!
52:14 that was one of my favorite moments in the film. Even when she knows that Art and Vicky are going to give her a horrorific and painful death, she tells Sienna how much she loves her just as much as her own daughter. And if she is going to die, she wants to make sure that it is not in vain, telling Sienna to make these two monsters suffer for what they did to their family.
I saw this in theaters, my house had just been destroyed by Hurricane Helene. It was bloody fun, and helped me feel somewhat normal after losing everything. I don’t why this became my comfort film 😂😂
Thank you for making it possible for me to watch movies like this😂 I would NEVER watch movies like this by myself so having a censored and cut down version like this is a saviour cause I still weirdly enjoy it. Your reactions makes it so much better!!
Damien said he would never cross a line (showing children getting killed by Art), because it would affect his audience and not many would wanna watch it.
I went to the theater cuz I knew I could handle intense gore. But this. This was next level gore. I’ve never seen this much violence in a movie before. I saw at least 2 people leave my theater during the movie
The opening sequence is EVERYTHING I wanted from this movie. Pure nightmare fuel. Also the scene where Art meets Santa is so wholesome. I was so happy in the theater hahaha
I've been a horror fan for years, and I've watched technically gorier, bloodier movies with more realistic practical effects. However, Terrifier 2 and 3 have been the hardest for me to watch. I couldn’t stop looking away, which normally rarely happens. The things Art does, the screams and sounds, and worst of all, how long his victims stay alive are so hard to watch. I don’t know how many times I said 'just die already' while watching this franchise. There must be some sort of supernatural explanation for it, it’s like they stay alive and conscious as long as Art wants them to feel the suffering.
I feel the Script in Part 2 gives us more of the Lore of Art and the demon that possesses him. A lot of stuff is brought up and explored in part 2 but (IN THREE) for the most part we either get a small continuation (Like with Sienna's dad Flashback or the brief Mention of the Little Girl from part 2) but we don't learn more about the demon or why the dad had visions. We learn almost at the very end that Sienna is some kind of the savior the Evil Art Demon wants to consume, but that also is just telling us what we could Guess from Part 2 with Super Hero Sienna. CAN'T WAIT FOR TERRIFIER 4 The Final Chapter (Or what ever they're gonna call it)! 🖤
IDK, but seeing Sienna struggling in the chair while wearing the crown of thorns got me the most. Can't imagine sitting there helpless and watching your loved ones getting tortured, and then dinner got totally ruined as well.
I don't think jonathan is dead because there was not a scene were they show how he was killed, also damien leone write on a post from twitter i think? That somehow he is alive but maybe not in this world
The creators main criticism for 2 was that it was overly long and needed to be cut down, and you can really tell that he felt like he needed to cut down the third act. I agree with Greg that this movie while bigger and crazier than 2, doesn’t feel as satisfying by the time it’s over. The 2nd movie just feels like it builds up to a more satisfying third act and conclusion.
It’s a wild ride that’s for sure. This is literally the most terrifying movie I have seen. I just don’t know how they can push it in further for the next one
Something about the yellow jacket that sienna wears reminded me of the 2014 TMNT Live action film with Megan Fox playing as April O’Neill wears the yellow jacket which I just find it similar
What makes it sadder is that Sienna has to sit there and watch them kill her, completely powerless to stop them. At least with her mom, Art already killed her before she found her.
I'm gonna give a steaming hot take and say that David Howard Thornton is the Robert England of our generation of horror fans. Of course he is his own thing but in the 80's Freddy Krueger was a really big icon due to Robert England. Art the Clown is a modern day slasher legend and David Howard Thornton makes the character funny and enjoyable. Art was also played in two short films and a feature length film by a guy named Mike Gilliani, he was the progenitor for Art the Clown but this was before Terrifier (2016).
I’m just gonna say it- Art has become my favorite horror villain. He’s just the perfect mix of depraved, campy and weirdly endearing. And David Howard Thornton seems like such a sweet guy. Watching him interact with fans in the Art costume is always so fun to see.
You definitely have to watch All Hallow's Eve, even if you don't want to record your reaction, just watch it, if you don't want to watch the movie at least watch the nine circles of hell short film. There are many people complaining about the ending and it is precisely because they don't understand it. The ending for me is perfect, I knew Terrifier with All Hallow's Eve and I was always waiting for references to the short films, that's why Terrifier 3 is my favorite film in the franchise so far, especially because it leaves the way clear for the fourth. Art will become mortal again since the demon that gives him “powers” does not currently have a recipient to return to, which will lead him to return to the cult he was in before, making sacrifices until he obtains the help of this demon that appears in Terrifier 2 and 3. I LOVE THIS FRANCHISE SO MUCH. By the way, I love your reactions, they are just amazing guys, I hope you enjoy it ❤ (I hope you understand, I'm using a translator 😅)

38:12 💀💀💀💀🤣🤣🤣🤣 Lord forgive me
We need to petition to get Roxy a roll in Terrifier 4💯🙌🏻
Where do I sign
It’s honestly inspiring to see how Art went from a short film to an anthology to an indie film to a franchise to a full on mascot of modern horror
Wow!!! 😮
Roxy was totally going to say Vicky was Glass-turbating, but was cut off by the insanity on screen.
OG Mount Rushmore of Horror: Freddy, Michael, Jason, Chucky.
New Mount Rushmore of Horror: Ghostface, Pennywise, Leatherface, and newcomer Art the Clown.
My reaction to seeing this for the first time was just giggling at how absurd and cool all the kills are
The yellow eyed demon is key. Sienna is shown holding a decapitated demon head in the drawing. Art will always come back/not die until the demon is slain.
33:50
Truly could not stop laughing for a minute.
I would never watch this on my own, but I know you guys censor things very well - so watching your reaction I knew it would be safe!
I saw this in theaters, my house had just been destroyed by Hurricane Helene. It was bloody fun, and helped me feel somewhat normal after losing everything. I don’t why this became my comfort film 😂😂
I prey that you get all that you lost you receive more bigger and better.
The Song called a work of art by ice nine kills can be heard playing when Jonathan enters Mia and Cole’s room
Thank you for making it possible for me to watch movies like this😂 I would NEVER watch movies like this by myself so having a censored and cut down version like this is a saviour cause I still weirdly enjoy it. Your reactions makes it so much better!!
I actually got to meet and get a pic with Santa Art a few weeks ago at monster mania con
Greg- I don't think he'll do anything arou d all these people.
Art - an act of terror.
Damien said he would never cross a line (showing children getting killed by Art), because it would affect his audience and not many would wanna watch it.
Greg’s reactions to these always crack me up 😂
Greg's reaction to the glassterbation scene was hilarious. 😂😂😂
I went to the theater cuz I knew I could handle intense gore. But this. This was next level gore. I’ve never seen this much violence in a movie before. I saw at least 2 people leave my theater during the movie
45:34 Greg, New shirt Design... "Why The Bosoms?"!!! 😆
I saw this in the cinema and there was a group of friends dressed as Art, costume, makeup and all, sitting behind me 😂
The opening sequence is EVERYTHING I wanted from this movie. Pure nightmare fuel.
Also the scene where Art meets Santa is so wholesome. I was so happy in the theater hahaha
The rat scene...Roxy: "did you know you could do that?" Me: well apparently someone hasn't heard fack 😂
46:24 Greg went full paul bearer lmao 🤣
Sienna is probably in my top 3 final girl and art in my top 3 horror movie killer.
It was confirmed by david howard thornton that art ate julian, the little girl in the beginning
Can we start a Movement to get Roxy a part on Terrifier 4??? Does anyone know the director personally? Someone make it happen, pretty please!!!
Amen
Roxy looks good asf
IDK, but seeing Sienna struggling in the chair while wearing the crown of thorns got me the most. Can't imagine sitting there helpless and watching your loved ones getting tortured, and then dinner got totally ruined as well.
46:10 and 46:16 Greg’s face says it all, my same reaction when I saw it in the theatre😂
This movie was absolutely wild watching it in theaters
If im not mistaken, the toys art gives at the mall are from the kids from the first scene
I love this call back because sieenas mom even said I love you before they killed her 52:03 , so sad man
What makes it sadder is that Sienna has to sit there and watch them kill her, completely powerless to stop them. At least with her mom, Art already killed her before she found her.
art gave Timmy his early Christmas gift when he's 92 he's a good person
I'm gonna give a steaming hot take and say that David Howard Thornton is the Robert England of our generation of horror fans. Of course he is his own thing but in the 80's Freddy Krueger was a really big icon due to Robert England. Art the Clown is a modern day slasher legend and David Howard Thornton makes the character funny and enjoyable.
Art was also played in two short films and a feature length film by a guy named Mike Gilliani, he was the progenitor for Art the Clown but this was before Terrifier (2016).
Yes, Sienna is just as ICONIC as Art at this point!!!
I’m just gonna say it- Art has become my favorite horror villain. He’s just the perfect mix of depraved, campy and weirdly endearing. And David Howard Thornton seems like such a sweet guy. Watching him interact with fans in the Art costume is always so fun to see.
23:34 when you drop the pumpkin pie on thanksgiving
37:32 foreshadowing is a narrative device….
Krampus and Terrifier 3 are now my holiday classics every year now ❤
“You deserve to die Mark” lmao that took me out 😂
You definitely have to watch All Hallow's Eve, even if you don't want to record your reaction, just watch it, if you don't want to watch the movie at least watch the nine circles of hell short film.
By the way, I love your reactions, they are just amazing guys, I hope you enjoy it ❤
(I hope you understand, I'm using a translator 😅)
