@@hug-the-raccoon This is pretty much exactly what I want. Pokemon TCG is a great card game but a terrible mobile game, this is an easy to pick up and play version of it that you can spend 10 minutes on at work

Considering that is unlikely that there will be rotation in this game, just wait a while and y'all will be complaining about power creep. The actual TCG doesn't suffer from actual power creep due to rotation, there is just a "power inflation". Now, in a format without rotation and this game being heavy on microtransactions, they will need to keep pushing people to get the new cards and that's how actual power creep starts.
@bad_atgames that's because cards games are fairly basic and lacking when they start out. I don't see the appeal of this game at all, but if its something you're interested in, all power to you.

I can't say I'm disappointed with this game when I already knew it was gonna be bad. The game is very polished and it looks and plays infinitely better than Live so I'll give it that. But what's exactly the point of this game other than spending a ton of money and opening packs? The battle mechanics are way too simple and mind numbingly boring so I can't see myself playing it for an extended period.
