Over the years there have been some players who have had amazing individual seasons but their team didn’t do so well and people say “well his team sucked so he didn’t deserve mvp”, but shai had better scoring numbers 30, 6 and 5 the only player in the league to average 30 his season I believe and his team was number one in the west so there really was no excuse. Everything Shanon said about Shaq, Shaq has said about himself. Kobe has also said the same about Shaq. Shaq’s ego is just too much to entertain criticism of any sort. It is no secret that Shaq was always coming back overweight and out of shape to camp, and his work ethic was not top notch. Still, he managed to dominate during his days and win four championships. People today can only imagine what would have been had he had a different work ethic. None of that is secret. It’s crazy how a man that big can have such a fragile ego
