They have probably grown up being bullied and ridiculed. A lot of the time, people ridicule, humiliate, insult, etc minorities through micro aggressions and this causes them to be on guard all of the time.
You can have the same "sensitive" complaint over anyone that belongs to a minority group that is easily offended by heedless remarks regardless of the intention of the person. Similarly, you can be racist & say racist things without intentionally trying to be racist. "I didnt know" or "I didnt mean it like that" is not always good enough because you're doing damage regardless of intention. Its up to them to realize and correct their behaviour and other times, people lie so they can continue to be rude without facing the consequences of their actions.
They felt insulted and offended and had every right to feel it and voice it, my only issue is with HOW they voiced it but you can tell they were uncomfortable and awkwardly tried to laugh it off and be nice about it until it became too much for them. They should not have to grow thicker skin & allow disrespect simply so they can exist.

A lot of times, grown ass people don’t know how to put their pride aside, take accountability, or embrace an opportunity to learn. Especially with a mistake that is committed in ignorance. Some people will fault accountability just because they “didn’t know”; ignorance of the law is not an excuse nor justification for crime. Most of the time, it just takes a simply “sorry”.

Kandy was just trying to be professional. Munchkin was the voice style, not saying it towards them. I understand that the word can be very triggering. Kandy was on her knees because the mic is all the way down there. And she just wants the twins to feel comfortable and work together on the song. Maybe if they had a talk about what to say and do and what not to say and don’t do. Would have helped. It’s great that they all understood eachother and water under the bridge.

I have seen this clip numerous times and still don't see how Kady did or said anything offensive towards the twins. The part in the song, does sound like the damn munchkins off the wizard of Oz, didn't sound like children or anything else, so what was Kady supposed to say? She was squatting down to be more on their level because they are little people, so I felt she was being respectfully accommodating, the little pat on the head, I felt, was accidental because Kady was giving the guy direction, while trying to show him which twin would, have which verse and felt because the twins couldnt keep up, possibly due to speech or verbal issues, they wanted to divert their incapabilities by making Kady appear as if she was blatantly being offensively towards them and think the twins arent true rappers, obviously, that theyve berm able to have multiple accomodations with their other songs yet the fact Kady wanted them to do things her way and really tried working with them, they wanted or Andrea' rather, wanted to thrownher typically attention seeking tantrums. Before starting the little women ATL series I had no idea that several things were seen as offensive. I definitely would have been the one person to bend over to talk to a little person because I like to be eye to eye when speaking. The ‘m’ word I would have known not to use though because no one uses it anymore in polite conversation.
