I would love to take the train across Australia too, Mark. I've always wanted to. I've visited family in Sydney but used to dream of grabbing a train right across Oz. Who knows, maybe one day. Switzerland too is a place I'd love to see by train too. I Absolutely LOVED this story my friend. What an awesome adventure at a cool young age. I was hanging on your every word. Great video. I grew up near (and spent a lot of time in) Flint, MI. It's the hometown of Grand Funk Railroad and you are correct. Grand Trunk Railroad is the inspiration for the band's name. My ex gf's dad rented a house to them before the band became famous. I lost count of how many train overpasses in Flint were tagged with spray paint to make it say Grand Funk.
I also now live in the Detroit area and have been to Cobo Hall many times. Now, it's officially called Huntington Place but almost everyone still calls it Cobo.

I had a friend a bit similar, we were neighbors for just a year but became best friends. Even spending 16 consecutive nights together during winter break. I went to visit him and his family about a year ago in California; which was my first trip alone as well. Sadly, we had a very unfortunate falling out that still rubs me wrong as the conflict wasn’t really between us two. I miss him and I miss having friends in general. I’m 19 now and your stories help me and make me laugh thank you!
So glad you enjoyed my story Jesus but I am sad for you that you and your friend had a falling out. Richard and I still remained friends for years but after awhile the only thing we had in common was our history as we both took very different paths through life. He passed away in 2009 from lung cancer but I was so glad we stayed friends right up until he passed. I hope you re-connect with your friend Jesus, life goes far too fast not to keep in touch. I have doing a lot of research on traveling by train. I look forward to it down the road. There is a train ride from the bottom of the Rockies into Canada an back an they say it's heaven during the winter. But knowing my luck every one there would be sick on day 1 cause of the time of year
There is a train called Rocky Mountaineer, it is exclusively for tourism, I hear it is very good. Linda and I would love to travel kore by train maybe across Europe...thanks for commenting and for tuning in Mason....:)

Hello Ryan, your shout out is on the way, most likely on the 12th of this month. Most viewers wanted a plastic fork coz the metal fork is a bit noisy. My Yeti mic is very sensitive and if I even put the fork down to hard it pics it up and it sounds very loud. I tell you what, in the video I make for you and your daughter I will use a real fork just for you two...sound good?...thanks to the two of you for tuning in and supporting my channel, you are both awesome...:)
