Always remember going to see them live about 79 - 80 in a club in Manchester UK the club was called Place mates 7 i was only six feet away from Mark King when his new amp broke down he kicked it and said that shit is going back pluged into another amp and carried on what a fantastic night so i have been a fan for a long long time the best bass player ever

I don't know if people realize just how GREAT Boon was. His playing was so complex, yet so understated. Sometimes it almost sounded like he was hardly playing, but there was a LOT going on. Level 42 is a PERFECT band.

my favorite L42 song. it is melodic and percussive. a feast for the ears. it came out after the concert in wembley - one of my favorite recorded concerts. i’m glad there’s a live version of this
