For being one of the oldest characters, Mona's still ages pretty well to this day, and I imagine Keqing's burst would have very similar visuals to Clorinde's if it was done today

So the animation isn't outdated, it's just personal preferences.

As much as i love how cinematic the newer bursts are becoming, i really wish they still kept that seamless transition that the older bursts had. Back then it transitioned with the character and the environment. Now it’s more of a cutscene.
My condonlenses on losing the 50/50(unless it was standard banner) but keqing can actually be pretty good. Use her with dendro teams, look a guide or 2, im sure they can explain it better.
I like how they managed to improve the quality without extending the duration of those animations. Seems like taking the character and putting them against a new background and setting just makes everything look cooler lol.
