I like the handle material and the brass inserts. Very nice. It's a cool way to make a quick, down and dirty knife that really looks nice. Good way to recycle good steel to instead of throwing it away. Good American steel.

Indeed. And actually you don’t want a letter opener to be that sharp. They actually move along the crease in the flap better if they are about as sharp as a butter knife.
@@JohnSmith-gs4lw yeah this would get used as a box knife more than a letter opener for me. It would definitely become a part of my EDC load out just because it can file your nails in a pinch when I break one off at work 😂😂🙃🙃
