Got this demo when they came through Newark in 1995 and it floored me. They were harder than most of the NY bands around this era in my opinion. This is what hardcore is supposed to sound like: heavy, but not quite metal; legit street feel; anger; and lyrics that tell their story.
100% Seen them at CBs in early 90’s As well as Newark and Long Island. Cold As Life is fucking hard as nails since day 1. Jeff is out of prison. I hope they do a reunion.
Love this and the 97 demo so much. I think Cold As Life is a sorely underrated band. Born To Land Hard is a damn masterpiece, and IMO one of the best albums of the era.

I got this demo when they played the Super Bowl of Hardcore at Studio One in Jersey City.

wow. thanks for upload
This is J Navarro on vocals I believe.
No. Jay played bass in the band for just a little bit early on.
This is Jeff G and Jeff West on Vocals. The more staccato rap style yelling / screaming is Jeff G and the lower Danzig sounding stuff is Jeff West
90s music was trife and trill af
