Fate, or should I say Nasuverse is literally the Japanese equivalent of Western's Marvel and DC except it's far bigger because even Nasu's other works like Witch Of The Holy Night and Tsukihime take place in the same universe, or the Nasuverse.
Nasuverse and Toaruverse are the Japanese version of Marvel and DC. Nasuverse more like the latest Phase of MCU or the Comic version of DC and Marvel due to the separated universe having the connection with each other while Toaruverse is more of Early MCU style where there is only one specific universe but the story of the main characters of different series (Index,Railgun,Astral Buddy, Mental Out, Dark Matter, SS, etc) are connected with each other.
@@MGOthinus Yes pretty much. Although I should say that Toaruverse is smaller than Nasuverse, but the sheer lores and characters inboth of these universes is on par with that of Marvel and DC, maybe even surpassing them.
@@MGOthinus I consumed all of contents in Nasuverse and Toaruverse, and should I say, both of these series is the best thing. I particularly liked incredibly massive series with hundreds or even thousands of characters that somehow managed to construct an abyssmal amount of lores in-verses. Nasuverse and Toaruverse is literally the only series in the entire of anime that managed to get THAT BIG. I don't really prefer watching very casual anime like pretty much all of Isekai and Shounen. They only have one season and very simple storyline, on which.... yeah, I feel like not challenging enough for me to consume💀.
@@eclipsewaves yeah Toaruverse is smaller because it limited to one specific universe (Just like MCU before Endgame) while Nasuverse have multiple universe which have connection with each other (MCU current phase and DC/Marvel Comic).
Just wanna say that all fate stories might be connected in the nasuverse but not all follows the same set of rules worldwise. The Fate lore itself is not concrete.

When I first got into Fate, I didn't like Stay Night much, but I did like the general idea and the surrounding titles (Zero and UBW), and the setup in Stay Night was the only guide I needed for the most part. So I feel like if this only touched on Stay Night, and then stopped, but showed the other titles without spoiling them, that would be perfect for newbies. You will figure out very fast if you like the franchise enough to explore it.
