Funnily I think 99% of supporters couldn't GAF because we're all overseas and we have no hope of getting there. But for the 1% that can I hope you get it.
Currently I live in the south and as a single bloke I'm planning to move up to Manchester by the time the new stadium is finished. I'd love to live in the new rejuvenated area of old Trafford if I can afford it. Obviously, I'd want to be a season ticket holder by then. I'm guessing loads more season tickets will become available if we have 25k more seats but even if I have to buy an executive season ticket for a couple years first then that's what I will do. I'm really looking forward to living in Manchester and I can't wait for them to start the new stadium.
lol not being funny mate but manchester is largely unaffordable now for locals, cause everyone from the south has been moving up here for the past 10 years cause to them it's 'dirt cheap' lol. lot of those 25k seats will be hospitality & there's already a huge list, you can't just walk up & get one. don't move here just for a football team pal, it won't bring the happiness you think it will

Was initially a revamp fan. But in reality all sensibility points towards building new. Incorporate the white frame roof, Munich tunnel, red brick & glass & u can’t go wrong.
Bring it on. I’m a traditionalist but a new stadium will be in the shadow of Old Trafford, which will help, ie same travel/ walks to the new stadium. The current ground has 150yr old foundations, so we will move eventually, so why not now. Renaming will be interesting mind!
Why wouldn't you want a new fit for purpose stadium ? 100,000 + all seater is a must , anything less is unambitious . United need to catch up with Real , Barca , City etc , not just catch up but surpass all of them
If we don’t get someone like rabiot who can play 6 or 8 but mostly 8 we will burn out mainoo and the chances of him getting injured go through the roof if that happens. Also top 4 will not happen with only mainoo at 8 he is too young and needs time to grow into a 50+ game a year player
Please, anyone reading bare with me as this is not easy to explain. So apparently at the moment the most likely option is that a new 100,000 seater stadium will be built right next to Old Trafford and the current old trafford will be downsized to a 30,000 seater stadium and will be used for the academy and the women's team. The main downside to this plan to me is that we'll have to move away and relocate and our senior squad will no longer play on the same pitch location that gods like Best, Law, Charlton, Robson and Cantona played in. The main reason it seems pretty difficult to retain the same pitch location seems to be that we'll need to find another stadium where we can play our games whilst Old Trafford is knocked down and rebuilt on the same location. What I don't get is why is it not possible to build a 60k seater stadium next to Old Trafford for Man United to play their games whilst the current Old Trafford is demolished and rebuilt. This stadium just like the Lusail stadium im qatar (which will be downsized from 88k to 40k) will then be downsized to 20-30k and will be used for the women's team and the academy and the men's senior team will play in the new 100,000+ seater stadium on the same pitch location that the gods I mentioned earlier played in.

United needs a new stadium with style, royalty, and personality! It easily needs to be over 100k capacity, anywhere from 100-150 even would likely sell out, with 125 being more reasonable target. However, you cannot build a ‘box-style’ stadium such as Met Life stadium, So-Fi Stadium, and other American style complexes. ‘New Trafford’ needs the personality and character the modernized Camp Nou and Santiago Buernabau have. There can be a lot done with the the community around the development, building top notch amenities, business conference centres, restaurants and entertainment districts, as well as residential spaces around a lively stadium. This could continue generating money in concerts, tournaments coming to Manchester, and added appeal of the city.

Most fans would hate this but I'd be okay if the current stadium was turned into flats but only for United fans. I'd definitely try my best to own one. I've never understood why people assign so much importance to an old stadium thats needed replacing for years. The memories created in Old Trafford will never disappear as they exist in your head and your heart, not in an old stadium. If they did decide to turn old Trafford into flats, I would pay my deposit today if I could.
You want a 75k stadium rammed right up against a new 100k stadium because you can't let go? And spend tens of millions a year maintaining the empty old eyesore of a stadium. What is this nonsense.
I don't see how you keep it beyond nostalgia. It's a tight squeeze having 2 stadiums, it already is for those walking from the east stand to the stretford end. OT is rotting & unsafe, that'll cost millions a year to maintain for no reason along with insurance costs. In 20-40 years we'll have to dismantle it anyway or spend £500m making it safe. Pointless keeping it.
