On May 31, 2014, two girls, Anissa Weier and Morgan Geyser was obsessed with slender man believing he is indeed real. They believed that in order to be proxies with slender man, they must have a sacrifice. The sacrifice was their dear friend, Payton Leutner. Anissa and Morgan led Payton to a forest and stabbed Payton multiple times. The girls was charged with fist degree attempted homicide. Weier actually had an mental disorder called “delusional disorder” the girls later was sent to prison for about 25 years or more.
