Your observations are wise beyond your years. I am 71, fit, healthy, adventurous, well educated and a traditional gentleman. Almost all these Philippine TH-cam channels feature women in their twenties and men in their 50s and 60s. I have little doubt that I could find a young philappina who would appreciate the respect, kindness, wisdom and humor (not to mention support) that I will bring to the relationship. But I would prefer a more mature woman in her 40s, 50s or 60s who is still beautiful, fit and sexy for her age, and wise with life experiences. The problem is these woman do not seem to appear much I the TH-cam videos. It may be that they are still legally married, something that we expats have been warned about. (It is unfortunate that these zombie marriages cannot be put to the stake by divorce in the Philippines. What a dreadful state of affairs to be legally stuck in a bad or ghosted marriage.) So this certainly must greatly narrow the field of available older women. Yet I am sure that there are some unicorns out there who are older, wise, fit, beautiful and unattached. As to the death stares from older women, it is not only in the Philippines, of course. I often go out to dinner with my 24 year-old daughter and I just have to laugh at the reactions of many of the older women - from disgust to sheer rage! Of course, once they find out she is my daughter, their expressions change entirely. But, as you note, the options for women significantly decrease with age (how many 60 year-old women do you see with 25 year-old men . . .). In contrast, the options for men narrow, but not significantly - especially if you have money. It is just the way of things. Keep up the good work!

I actually experienced the same thing wherein me and my father went out to eat, just the two of us, and golly, the eyes of these women and even men were too funny. At least one of them went into the marriage with the understanding that he didn't want children and she didn't want children, but after she got pregnant she admitted that "deep down" she really did want children.

I can only speak for my age group Why I'm looking for a young woman, because I still want children, because it's difficult or no longer possible for a woman over 40. And of course it was also mentioned here that after menopause a woman wants little or no sex, but that is a mental attitude. I don't really get all the negativity about age gaps. There are plenty of wealthy famous and influential men in the west and elsewhere in relationships and marriages with much younger wimen. Also an increasing number of older women with younger men. Jamaica. The Dominican Republic and Turkey are popular with older ladies looking for romance with younger men. Though I am not interested in finding a partner around my daughter's age (24) I don't feel critical of those who do. I've had Filipino friends in the Philippines 🇵🇭 for almost 14 years. We were friends before Facebook and continue to be friends today. One I've known for 14 years this September, I also know her husband, brother, sister 2 aunts and a friend of hers from high school and a couple of cousins. Oh, and her mom. I've known the other family members since right after typhoon Yolanda in November of 2013. They're from Tolosa Leyte. She lives in Quezon and she couldn't get hold of her family and she was crying over it. So I called the Red Cross and found if she volunteered to feed the people in Leyte they would take her to Leyte. I called her back with the information which included the address and phone number to the Red Cross in Manila. Although her friend told her to do the same thing as I did, I provided her with the address and phone number. She found her family the first day she got there and everyone was fine. Within a couple of weeks I received all these friend requests from her family members. So I guess they figured I was a good guy. I have a few more friends in the Philippines 🇵🇭 almost as long. Then I attended your wedding via online. I've been following you for 5 or 6 years. It's almost like I have another part of my family in the Philippines 🇵🇭. One day I plan to visit the Philippines 🇵🇭 and meet my friends there, maybe take them to lunch if they're married bring their husbands along. I am not up to the task of having to raise my lovely Filipina. I have already raised my two sons and having to do this all over again with a romantic partner is just too weird. That being said, my Filipina will need to be age 30 minimum ( and this is pushing the limit ) and have at least a basic understanding of geography and world events. I actually experienced the same thing wherein me and my father went out to eat, just the two of us, and golly, the eyes of these women and even men were too funny. I wanted to laugh so hard, but of course, I just shook my head and smiled. People these days judge easily based on what they see and not what they don't know.
It narrows significantly for men also. In the West you need no be really rich to get 25 yo woman when you are 60. Only several percent of men population can afford it. Just a few ideas.

About paying for education. Did you know, the top 5% of income earners in the USA, mostly have a university degree. However the majority of top 1% of income earners don't have a degree. That's because to get into the top 1% you need to earn over US$800,000 a year, & not many jobs requiring a university, pays that kind of money. So most people in that bracket are just business people not requiring a degree.
I don't have a degree, so there's no way I'm paying for someone else's degree. They can go do the hard grind & drudgery, the same as I once had to.

I can only speak for my age group
Why I'm looking for a young woman, because I still want children, because it's difficult or no longer possible for a woman over 40. And of course it was also mentioned here that after menopause a woman wants little or no sex, but that is a mental attitude. Since we are still very active in our 50s and 60s, this is unfortunately a disadvantage for such more mature women when looking for a partner, as the more mature woman is directly excluded.

I don't really get all the negativity about age gaps. There are plenty of wealthy famous and influential men in the west and elsewhere in relationships and marriages with much younger wimen. Also an increasing number of older women with younger men. Jamaica. The Dominican Republic and Turkey are popular with older ladies looking for romance with younger men.
Though I am not interested in finding a partner around my daughter's age (24) I don't feel critical of those who do. Age gaps, cultural difference are nobody's business except for the people in the relationship as long as they are of legal age and there's no coersion.

I think the idea of a transactional relationship just makes people uneasy and many of these relationships are that. It kind of makes a mockery of love and marriage because people feel that if one were to get sick or become penniless, the other would leave. I would not date a young philpina because they are not mature yet, they are still learning and growing trying to find their way in life. Plus, no older man should be trying to teach her the things she hasn't yet experienced yet. Most younger females still act like a little girl. Date a older woman because she has life experiences and can relate.

I've had Filipino friends in the Philippines 🇵🇭 for almost 14 years. We were friends before Facebook and continue to be friends today. One I've known for 14 years this September, I also know her husband, brother, sister 2 aunts and a friend of hers from high school and a couple of cousins. Oh, and her mom. I've known the other family members since right after typhoon Yolanda in November of 2013. They're from Tolosa Leyte. She lives in Quezon and she couldn't get hold of her family and she was crying over it. So I called the Red Cross and found if she volunteered to feed the people in Leyte they would take her to Leyte. I called her back with the information which included the address and phone number to the Red Cross in Manila. Although her friend told her to do the same thing as I did, I provided her with the address and phone number. She found her family the first day she got there and everyone was fine. Within a couple of weeks I received all these friend requests from her family members. So I guess they figured I was a good guy.
I have a few more friends in the Philippines 🇵🇭 almost as long. Then I attended your wedding via online. I've been following you for 5 or 6 years. It's almost like I have another part of my family in the Philippines 🇵🇭. One day I plan to visit the Philippines 🇵🇭 and meet my friends there, maybe take them to lunch if they're married bring their husbands along. The Filipina Pea, old dog new tricks, maybe you and your husband. Quite a few are in Dumaguette or Valencia. Hopefully I spelled that correctly. I'm definitely invested in everyone I consider my friends or extended family.

Well, that's up to you if you want to choose that kind of girl. There are a lot of choices to choose from. But most of them choose to date girls who are in their 20s and up. I know someone, a friend of ours, who married a girl when she was just in her very early 20s. So, yah, if you think a 28 year old, OFW girl is mature enough for you then why not. The question here is: what's your definition of mature?
I am not up to the task of having to raise my lovely Filipina. I have already raised my two sons and having to do this all over again with a romantic partner is just too weird. That being said, my Filipina will need to be age 30 minimum ( and this is pushing the limit ) and have at least a basic understanding of geography and world events. I can teach her business principals and take her to another level but she needs to be willing to learn. I am also not going to let her fall into the trap of me supporting her entire family and leave her with a great big mess when it is my turn to leave this world.

Concerning the (Blended Baby) Over there in the Philippines. What's driving this desire in so many Pinay over there? Would you say Western influences like: Movie Actors, Entertainers or just the way images of western people are viewed? Does this play down the native cultures own very amazing beauty. Native Filipinas are stunning. Like ((Morena)) tones are OMG the most attractive one but they do not realize this, How is this possible? I guess it's strange when outside the culture but looking in but inside the culture and looking out in reverse. Very weird but true. I bring this up due to things I've seen from random Filipina saying they wished like hell they had thought deeper about what's on the surface before they got pregnant and now left with a child created but left by a man they saw illusions with but the reality of what it was it was only based on lust. These are not my words but other's I've listen to when it comes to creating a child just because or due to, etc..etc. I never really hear about substance when these things are spoken about. Only surface and visual things as if a trophy of some sort. My apologies if this rubs someone the wrong way. However even in my situation I have to be seriously careful not to get attached to a Filipina just because she is very beautiful and trust me from a man side looking Holy Hell there are so many of you. However I will step back and give a real friendship a chance and seek real substance that goes way past the years of beauty fading away over time, Substance do not.
