The shin armor bugs me but he should’ve came with alt hands, like the extra C-grip and one with the baseball molded in, to sort of match his card art.
I would hate it if they molded a bat into the hand permanently
I found lots more sports accessories for him
I get why they do stuff like this but I really wish that they would at the very least sell these as specific listings on the mcfarlane toys store like they did with the Crisis on Infinite Earths wave. Everyone scrambling to grab this wave no one can track with in store inventory systems is going to put a bad taste in collector’s mouths

What stores were supposed to receive these? I’ve yet to see them in the wild at any Walmart, target, or GameStop. It also seems most I’ve seen reviewed online were imported from china.
GameStop and Target are the places that have had them
Sportsmaster looks pretty cool on here but I was a little disappointed with the accessories. And when you take this sports master and compare it to the young justice one it could’ve had a lot of potential for gadgets and weapons. As for the hand I switched it with a different McFarlane hand so now he can hold two weapons in two hands

Thanks for the review. I decided to pick him up based on this, and will probably seek out that Casey Jones figure based on your recommendation.
I hate the closed left hand, so I swapped it out for Animal Man's left gripping hand. He looks better holding 2 weapons. But also looks godd with one hanging from his belt (courtesy of a clear rubber band)

@@dHuntersReviews No it's a pretty close match. My Animal man uses the fist for the left hand so he can spare the gripping hand. Now sportsmaster can hold the hockey stick with both hands.
And no, I mean the Neca Casey Jones, I might seek that out based on what you showed of his accessories.

Sportsmaster is just awesome, especially with 2 gripping hands. Probably on of my favoritues of the year. I didn't even know who he was lol

That Sport master figure is going to replace the Rival as the new Target peg warmer😩quite a few of the Batman it’s heavily borrowed from sat in one near me for months

I wish it were so. I had to enter an EQL drawing, & finally won for Sportsmaster after multiple failed drawings

Sports master is definitely not the new Rival peg warmer as I mistakenly predicted…..
After the one I gotta hold of ….I haven’t seen him in my area.. at all…. And I proudly hunt 5 different targets weekly 🤪
However, There’s is a horde of Metallos slowly manifesting themselves along with Marvel statues that are oddly hanging around alot longer than I anticipated 🤔

Does anyone know of any tighter hands I could use for this figure? The hand sportsmaster already has won’t tightly hold the weapons. I’ve tried every possible hand I can think of and they all loosely hold the weapons. The only ones that can are 6 inch figures
