*Taken From The Description* UPDATE: Due to the recent increase in views, I thought it would be appropriate to reinstate some of my views on this product. I filmed this video in December 2018 and my stance on this product has changed drastically since. My first criticism would be in the performance of this toy. It performs poorly given its reliance on 4 AA Batteries and any lower voltage halts the train. It is also of very cheap quality, now i purchased this train set for $20 and at the time i praised it. But looking back on it, the feeling this train set has is just awful and it just feels like it wants to crumble into pieces at times. My only praise of this set now would have to be the gauge which believes it or not is G Scale in width, but to put it next to any G Scale Equipment would be foolish as this train is smaller than G Scale in diameter but runs on the same gauge of track. But that is the only saving grace in this garbage train set. Please if you want to have a train running around the tree, i highly recommend skipping this product and buying a Lionel O gauge or Lionel Ready To Play Train Set, That will give you and your children so much more in terms of quality and performance. They can be a bit more in price but it is a much greater value and will last a lot longer than this. -KJP

I'm concerned the hobby could follow in the path of christmas train sets, think about it, they could make plastic tracks, with a plastic train powered by batteries and maybe to top it off a bluetooth module so that you can play christmas music through it or something.
true, Parents Are Willing To Buy Cheap Trains Like This because this hobby is way too expensive for most people. Think a Bachmann Starters Set Could Go For at least $100 and you get a short train and a loop of garbage steel track and over time the train will clog up and do you think a 6 or 7 year old will know how to clean and lubricate locomotives, NO They likely will toss them around the room until they get smashed up and there is a waste of money there for the parent and another thing the kids of today are obsessed with Ipads And Fortnite and they show no desire to continue the hobby of model railroading, they likely would take the set and use it once and it will sit for years and be a waste for them. For Parents these sets are cheap as chips and are durable for kids to play with them. This Engine has a really low quality motor that if the voltage if one volt off it slows down and plays up when the sound is on. Overall and this scares me is that parents dont give a damn about it and would rather buy this than an HO Starter set. Model Trains Began Around the Christmas Tree, Lets Hope It wont end there
When I put in on the tracks it doesn’t go? It doesn’t move it goes and stops goes and stops then just stops, It’s like stuck and I keep thinking I’m putting it on wrong but it’s how it’s suppose to go.. then I pick it up and it starts moving fast again. Help ?? Did I break mine or😭😭
@@sisirmallick6635 No, you do not want this set. It is of poor quality and will fail on you within a short amount of time. I highly recommend looking elsewhere for an electric train set, I assure you anything else you find would be better than this. I guarantee
Dude i have 1 to. when i was young i bought it from our family vacation. Im asking my dad to buy it. He say ok but only because im a good boy. Yeah just like that but i think its purple or blue
It was sold as a set and it's not a good one. Just buy any other christmas trainset for a bit more. I assure you, you will be getting your money's worth with anything but this foul set

Replace the batteries. Tbh this train is a foul set. Worth display around the tree all n all.. gonna have a lionel train around the tree soon
