Thank you for this it was very helpful as CorelDraw is very new for me. However, although I was able to follow this with ease I was a little puzzled at around 1:57 where you selected 2 objects and I wasn't sure which keys you used. 2 objects did not show at all at the bottom of the page. My final printout showed the curve of the bottom of the 'J' and 'o' were filled in.Could you help please?:)
Hi Judy. Glad I could help :-) I used the shift key. If you have one object selected and hold down shift while clicking on the other, it will select both. The reason your 2 curves were filled is because they were not combined. Got it?
Thank you so much for your help Doc B:) As it's late here I will do that tomorrow and will get back to you. Yes it makes more sense now, many thanks again :)
hi i always face issues while cutting mirror acrylic, cus it leaves marks on the topper, can u kindly suggest the best settings to cut 2-3 mm mirror acrylic
Hi there, your settings will depend on the laser tube you have, but generally when I cut mirror acrylic I cut it from the back (reverse image) and I leave the plastic covering on the front until after the cut. Best is to use as little power as possible to cut through. On my 80W machine, I use 25% speed and 20% power.
Great Tutorial
Thank You!! This is a great, simple, easy-to-understand explanation! Exactly what I needed.
