Fully Agreed! Never go for govt. Motor Insurance, I once had to take claim for 0 dep insurance from United India and got only 80k return on a claim of 105k because of Surveyor Ishwar Singh's mistake, he created an estimate of 2lac on pre inspection and then on final inspection when invoice was 1.05 lakh he passed only 80k
Only take private co. cashless policy.

Aur sab kuch sala surveyor and investigation walo ne game khela aur main aaj tak in sabke k wajah se pareshan hu😢
Inti setting hone k bad me agar aap itne pareshan hue to normal bande ko to claim hi nhi mil payega
The insurance surveyor said that I am suppose to take a photo after an accident, only then he can give full claim.
There are many situations where after an accident people are hurt, scared or very frustrated taking a photo is not at the top of the priorities

But the point is this should be a smooth process.

Vikram bhaiya mere sath bhi oriental insurance walo ne fraud kiya. They are shameless. My car was fully insured with zero debt still they didn't pay me back. Oriental insurance always offer less prices as they know they don't pay claims . They are thugs especially Gurugram branch.

we bought chevrolet car a year ago and purhased a new insurance of the same company i.e oriental insurance. i just hope i never have to face such situation bcoz as you said aam aadmi ko to fed up krr denge ye and i don't think so ki mai inse claim le bhi paunga. Rahi baat cash mai kaam karane ki to kya kahu, humare yaha to chevrolet waalo ne parts or service itni mehengi kri hui hai ki as if i own a fortuner not a chevrolet sail.

Vikram Bhai... my XUV500 burnt at Mahindra Service station (Shuban Sai) in Jul'23. My insurance company denied the claim as fire incident happened at workshop. In Oct'23, Subhan Sai paid 75% of the IDV. but now Shuban Sai, not paying pending 25%. and giving any relay of my call/SMS/Mail/Whatsapp. Plz suggest what should i do. Thanks in Advance. bhai company koi khrab nhi hoti .. sab nash ki jad surveyor hota hai.. meri icici lombar ki policy thi jisko aap achchi bta rahe ho... surveyor ne claim reject krdiya.. bolta hai cctv footage dikhao jahaan accident hua.. uske baap ne lagwa rakhe hai har jagah cctv... sab bhagya ke upar hai kis manushya ko kitna haraami surveyor milta hai..

Sir not only oriental insurance their are so many of companies. I face same issue with my car where my dead axcle is damage and my policy is with kotak Mahindra Bank and surveyor rejected my claim by saying you did it by your own @kotakgeneralinsurance
Same happened with me company united india insurance. Surveyors are independent body under IRDAI. They 90 days to settle payment better to go with private companies.
