NOTE: The issue shown in this video is caused by using the ARB-704. Don't use that. The MFG contacted me and worked with me through the issue shown in this video. After removing it, it is no longer an issue.
Mercury IIIs auto antenna switching demo. This video shows the Mercury IIIs. How it will auto switch bands. How I have it connected to the Flexradio.
It also unexpectedly shows the Amplifier protects itself and what that looks and sounds like.

Just an observation.. Place your AMP in standby when tuning your Antenna system...

I run a DX Commander Classic and tuning is not required on any of the bands being shown in the demo. The tune is used to cause the Amp to switch bands and is not meant to actually tune the antenna.

Roly, I have you on HAM Alert so yes. Just need to get the code back. I got my Extra when 20 WPM was required and used it a few years afterwards.

Just FYI, The Flex has an ALC output but it is still not implemented in the software so it will not work. Mention this to FLEX at every hamfest and they may implement the software.

Don, the autoswitching as I change bands is nice. The Flex will do that as well but then I want multiple antennas on the Amp. I now need to go with a new HF antenna for the Hermes. Want to get winlink working over HF via the Hermes.

Yes, this is the same Amplifier that Alex uses. That is where I first encountered the Amp.

I am not a CW guy. I can't answer that but if you use Facebook, there is a group for the Mercury III and a number of folks use CW there.
