He can sing anything ..love him..but I totally agree this genre enables him to shine. I love alot of different genres so I'm not insulting pop by any means when I say that when DIMASH sings pop it's almost beneath his ability BECAUSE of the callibre of vocalist he is because there's only so much you can do with a pop song. He can sing the phone book and sound amazing but it will inevitably limit him. It is a 12 minute video and yes that is long for a video but it is a message that today more than ever needs to be seen by as many people as possible. It is a very intense video often bring people to shock and tears but at the end you will see a message Dimash is trying to express to the world. He is also the main actor and he does a suburb job. It was reported that the video cost 7 million to produce but again, he thought the message was important and he is correct.
This song is called “The love of tired swans” and was one of the early collaborations between Dimash & composer Igor Krutoy (the pianist here). If I remember correctly this was at the Kremlin. I’d definitely recommend Dimash’s newest MV “The story of one sky”, available on his YT channel. It’s a masterpiece with a message that needs spreading, especially in today’s world. It’s been reported that Dimash spent 3 years and over $7 million (USD) on it.
