i after like 2 hours of studying this video i started hopping in ranked trying to impliment it in my gameplay, and i am literally 130 elo past my peak because of how much of a focus it has put me in. my peak was 1990 now im 2120 atm, and i havent even tried fully jamming the weapon ranges in my head yet. ive seen so many videos on approaches and this one by far explained it the best, Hoping to see more content on helping players past their barriers. much love man
Another thing that's often over looked is playing the weapons you struggle against this usually helps you see the general playstyle and spacing so that way you know what to expect. i.e when you're on low health and your opponent switches to axe 8 times out of 10 they want to land a sair.
@@Zenexasba I'm now 2245, I never new spacing was this important and whenever I tried to look into other guides it was just always Vauge or kept repeating the same lines and never talking about how to Do this or that. Ty again man, I feel as if I crossed into a deep thinking instead of auto piloting
Okay but like, how has brawlhalla been around this long and this is the only guy with this type of actually helpful content. Lakhan guides could never. Good shit man
I know it isn't super impressive, but I beat my first hard level bot this evening while observing this video. It's hard to break the habit, but I'm now aware that my previous approach strategy was dash back and forth and then lunge in. Thanks for an eye opening guide
Your channel is full of all the in depth concepts that really take a player’s game to the next level if they’re willing to put in the effort. I have so much appreciation for your channel because these are concepts that I think about loosely, but you literally dissect them and give specific points to practice. Stingray says to treat your opponents like labrats in order to improve and your channel is basically a roadmap to do that. I have 1300 hours on the game and I’m peak 1823 with a goal of diamond since I started playing the game. I wish you well cuz if I didn’t find this channel I’d probably be quitting brawlhalla within the next few months
Not only did I share and copy link but I also subscribed. I’m in the 1800s for Elo and this is exactly what I needed against passive players to get to diamond 🗣️‼️💯
Great vid I struggle against scythe alot. The dead zone is very difficult especially when they do double jump and push their deadzone higher and higher
This is a great channel! Nice to see you're getting recognition. Were could I find those images showing the deadzones of each weapon, as shown in 2:30?
Ily and ty. I'm a braindead approach with attack only kinda guy and when i hear approach with movement i get pissed cuz wtf does that really mean and when i actual try it i just feel lost and confuse like im doing jack shit. But this gave me a solid idea ,goated video no glazing.
My goodness even the algorithm tip at the end was amazing! Y’all make sure to hit share then copy link on the video please! Big homie deserve it! Also subscribe and like the video while you are at it i promise he don’t miss!!!
Holy hsit i have improved from this I went from hardstuck gold bro I’m fucking Diamond thank u bro U have the best vids They have so much info and detail huge respect keep it up king 👑
What an insanely helpful video. I’m at the stage of trying to improve my dodge usage and optimizing my movement when using a dodge to bait out attacks. Do you do any pro replay analysis?
Take my notes peole here ye go 2. When spacing: starting point is when you are close but not able to be hit, goal is to try and keep that. (If they are too close throw stacked attack) 3. After spaced: baiting; do an empty hop by jumping then fast falling, can also bait by djump fast falling to them then dashing back immediately, jump dodge works but dont do against spear cannon and scythe as much, dash dancing is quite good, or dash cancel Attacking; dash dodge best approach for attacking (dont overuse), dash jumps if they are grounded, mix it up, dash attacks (dont overuse) 4. Attacking: Lance blasters hammer (boots sword greatsword if spaced right); target them with attacks going down 45 degrees with, close empty hops, jump dodges. Sythe orb lance blasters cannon battle boots (hammer kinda); attack above them with, dash jumps, dash spot dodges, jump dodges. Greatsword sythe bow blasters (kinda sword); attack at 30 degrees above them with, far empty dodges, jump dodge, dash dancing, landing dashes. Weapons you can only bait, axe katar gauntlets spear sword; bait with, dash dancing, dash dodges, landing dashes, dash cancels
I haven't even finished the video yet but I can see the amount of dedication you put into this 👏 Huge respect as a fellow creator and thank you so much for your hard work 🔥
Fire video..I know your only katar legend you play is Asuri and your cannon legend xull is a t level 4 but if you could share any tips for Lin fei or a guide or a show case would be awesome as im a Lin fei main and kinda obsessed with her
i never touched katars, the reason why their level is high is because my brother play them lmaoo, but my best tip would be to watch a pro who played that legend and see what they're doing right then try to copy what they do
Guys, what about floaty scythe players? I main hammer and play grounded and I still can't answer this style consistently. I rather throw a dair or try to bait from below with dash dancing or dash-dodge. Any tips for a gold player? Also, this content is fire! Thank you for the tips! ❤
either do a diagonal up sig like cassidy nsig or teros n sig, or try to wait for the dair and catch the landing, or just spam nair since its a big hitbox and try to do it grounded too
Dash forward and then stop the momentum by holding the opposite direction of the dash, which will lead to you doing “half a dash”. You can see in the example i put in how i ended up right in front of the scythe attack because i canceled the momentum, if it was a normal dash that attack would’ve hit me
Nah fam I get it. I just hope that this won't spawn a playerbase that can't fight on their own and just have a video as a blueprint of how to play. Lmaoooo same here, fuck school honestly
It's amazing how well made this video was, such complex topics kept in just 12 mins and explained perfectly well
Very well constructed. You made a convoluted topic seem not so menacing and explained the ideas perfectly. Thank you!
