I remember feeling that way too. For those of us that struggle with self harm, it's a very private, shame-filled thing that isn't really talked about and I think we assume most people will only react to with judgement. The fact that Corpse is talking about these things with such a large and variable audience means a lot and it's extremely brave. I just hope it helps some folks understand that people with mental illness are still very much 3-dimensional and capable of being fun, funny, kind, smart, etc.

I don't know if any of you remember but corpse posted a Q&A on his Instagram where he answered pole questions from fans. if you didn't then I'm sure it's on youtube somewhere. There was one that literally made me sob. He opened up to us strangers, people whom he trusts with this information even though he's never met any of us before that he not only struggles with anxiety and illnesses, but he also struggles with self-harm.
My heart broke. I was so horrified to hear that this amazing, sweet, kind, talented and genuine person was going through something so horrible. I have never wanted to hug someone so badly.

I remember feeling that way too. For those of us that struggle with self harm, it's a very private, shame-filled thing that isn't really talked about and I think we assume most people will only react to with judgement. The fact that Corpse is talking about these things with such a large and variable audience means a lot and it's extremely brave. I just hope it helps some folks understand that people with mental illness are still very much 3-dimensional and capable of being fun, funny, kind, smart, etc.
