- This is the Spyderco Efficient from their line of budget, made in China knives. This is the black G10 and Black coated 8CR13MOV blade version. It has the Spyderco look with the Spydie hole and the spyder logo on the blade. It has a reversible pocket clip, and great ergos. The grip on the G10 is great. It's a great little budget EDC Knife.
The full flat ground blade is a 2-1/2" Drop Point. Blade Thickness: 1/8". 4" Closed. 7" Overall. Weight: 4.1oz.
Here is the link from SMKW which is where we bought it: www.smkw.com/s...
Great review of the Efficient
Thank you so much for watching
Pretty cool little Spyderco. They do a decent job on their budget series. Great video 👍
Thanks so much. It's a cool little budget knife for sure. Good buy. Thanks for watching.
Buying 4 of these for Xmas presents for my daughters, thanks for your review helping me decide
Oh nice. Good choice. Thanks.
I really dig budget Spyderco! The Astute is one on my favorites from this year! This looks like a good one as well! Thanks for sharing!!
Yes sir, they seem like a really good value and the designs are pretty excellent as well. Thanks again for watching!
That is a slick little design. I can see why your daughter likes it so much.
It's a really nice knife. Thanks for watching
Thanks KC. Just got one from a gaw and wanted to see a review.

Great. Yeah my daughter really loves hers. Thanks
@KnivesFAST I wear it clipped in my Hoodie Kangaroo Pocket most days lol Cheers my friend !
I had my eye on few Spyderco knives but I decided to start off with the budget one. I got the Astute while back. A great knifeI it’s what I carry, use and fidget with 😄 I just ordered the efficient and pm3 and looking forward it to them. Great videos btw.
Excellent choices to begin with. Enjoy and thanks.
This review convinced me to purchase this knife.
Sweet, my daughter really loves this knife. I'm glad you enjoyed the review. Thank you
You sound off. Are you okay KC? Cool little knife.
Well that was 3 and 1/2 years ago Rusty. But I'm fine. Thanks for watching
Great review, cheers mate.
Oh I very much appreciate it. Thanks
Nice knife, nice review!
I enjoy this one for sure. Thanks
a dope looking knife
Thanks man. Appreciate you watching.
I have one as a factory second coming in. Only $16.. couldn’t pass on that
Oh wow. A great deal. Thanks.
I have the same black on black, but mine is super stiff. It doesn't flick open with the thumb or reverse flick. I opened it, cleaned and oiled, still stiff. I tried bending the lock bar to loosen the detent, still super stiff. I tried backing off the pivot screw, it only becomes flickable when the blade is really loose. Anyone have suggestions? If not I'm gonna sell it. It's too bad, I like the design. :(
Not really. It's just overall a pretty stiff design. This one's kind of stiff as well but it has worked in with time. That seems to help but it just takes a little while. Thank you
I don't care for 8cr13mov. Could someone educate me a bit on this knife steel. I saw it on some byrdcos and cold steels. Want to learn what are it's qualities in today's market?
So I'm going to be doing an upcoming video on blade steel. But I'm doing some research first and probably going to see if I can get others to chip in and help that no more about it. I'm not a big one on all the properties of steel. I can just tell you from experience that 8CR does not hold an edge for very long. It does sharpen pretty easily but loses its edge very easily. But it does cut very very well when it's sharp.
@@KnivesFAST I really appreciate it! I am going to sub. I have a child as well and a knife addict! Look forward to more content.
@@Apex_grind562 That's awesome, thank you so much. There's a lot more content to come for sure. The knife steal thing is a tough one since I'm not a metallurgist but we will definitely do our best to explain it in a way when everybody can understand.
For $51 it is garbage even today not to say 3 years ago. What a trash review
Well thanks for watching.
